I'm not a fan - to be honest I am not sure on her new ideas of using tinned beef and fozen mash potatoe for cottage pie - surely it's the same as buying a ready meal!!!! but it could just be me!!!

I'll be watching the first couple to see what it's like,I've always loved Delia but I started off watching Nigella Express as I used to be a big fan of hers too,but had to stop as it was all so fakey. What I'd really wish one of these tv chefs would do is a proper old style money saving recipe series, far more useful to most people

I've got it set to record and will watch it. Am a great fan of her cookery course and use when I want basic recipes - but like Pen-Pen have found her patronising of late.

Shall be interested to see what others think

No sorry ,I dont think her new "ideas" are any more than cashing in on the ready meal market. What we really need is someone showing people how to cook real food cheaply and healthily....and that doesnt include frozen mash and marks and spencers tinned minced lamb:confused: .
I am a little disapointed at her attitude to be honest...I thinks she has lost the plot.

Watch this space. If and when I can get all my nice and simple recipes uploaded to my website and get the index page with all the necessary links sorted, I plan to become the world's first MSE/OS internet chef. :cool2:

I don't like her new cheats recipes.

Things like using packet mash etc. Why not just teach us the recipes and let us speed them up ourselves if we want? ;) What was the point in teaching us "How to cook" only to come along later to teach us how not to cook?

:rotfl: Don't knock it, I have, in my time, been known to use a lattice pastry cutter, liquid glucose and cranberries :D
