I think I beat you all again. I have over 300 email addresses set up on my domain (I usually give a unique one to everyone although I occasionally use a gmail address temporarily or if it's very likely to attract spam).

Nope they all forward to one root address which is the one Outlook accesses. All I see is one inbox of email coming in (and no spam). On the three occasions I've had phishing emails I could see straight away in the email address it was to who had passed on my info. I informed that company (with absolute proof they'd passed on my details) and I delete that email address and forget about that company or replace it with another unique address if I still want email from that company. May sound like a lot of hassle but it's taken me far less time than anyone I know who has to set up spam filters, delete spam that gets through daily and checking spam folders for false positives.

I'm not so bothered about my gmail getting spam as I only treat it as an auxilliary email system and kind of a spam trap in itself. My main ones have always seemed to get spam (I also had them since the beta days, so I do realise and sympathise for you, not to mention extremely impressed you managed to keep it spam free for all that time).

You don't beat me, last time I counted I had 500 yahoo accounts and I have made more since.

I have also lost a few, some hacked some deleted by Yahoo and some frozen for 20 years or so.

No I don't use them for Email, well not many I use them for Yahoo games (spades) I have every rank from 3500 down to 2000.

So if you ever wonder why a name is not available it is because of people like me, but I am only a lightweight I know people who have 1000's.

Well at least I use every single one of mine actively at the moment for receiving email. I used to do something similar for needing unique email addresses to gain benefit from offers like accumulating point etc but I can't be bothered nowadays. I've only got one yahoo account though, and I only really use that to access yahoo groups etc and don't even use it for email.

I suppose if I really wanted to I could create any number more on my domain and multiply that by the 15 domains or so I have, but I currently create addresses for specific purposes and to receive actual email.

    Could these names become valuable?

    Maybe one day.
