I've been watching this thread with interest as I really need an effective new Dyson. My DC01 has given faithful service and has been refurbished for £55 a few years ago. Now I have three dogs, I need an Animal! :p

Strangely enough, I found best price DC14 Animal on LXDirect and got a £10% offer for them this morning with 'Buy Now Pay September 2006' so it's all ended happily. Total price with delivery £215.

I hope you all get your bargains.

Could we not just leave them alone for now instead of asking the same question that someone else had answered already? It seems a bit pointless to keep asking.....

I disagree. Their reply emails are all extra ammo for when they decline to fulfil our orders, which, going by their past record, is likely.

knowing that i wasnt gonna get my dco7 animal from kayslifestyle i took a leaflet from my local kwik save which had the grey and yellow dc07's and went to currys they price matched and also gave 10% of the difference so i got it for £125.00 not as good as £86 but still better than the £169 that currys wanted:j :j

Someone posted on Rpoints that they have received a cancellation email because they are unable to obtain stock.

I have just been on my account at kays, the Dyson has gone from my account so II guess I am not getting one  , and they haven't even got the comon to let me know. Thats not the way to treat new customers if you want to keep them.
Anyone else been on there account in the last couple of days to find its gone?.

Just checked my account and there's no trace of my order but no cancellation email yet. May be it has done me a favour and saved me £86.....freddy

Same here. Yesterday I had the option of cancelling my order, now there is nothing there to cancel. But no email explaining why.
I do think it's bad form accepting an order then cancelling it without explanation.
Mind you I did think it was too good to be true, but if someone had made a mistake it would surely have been spotted and an explanation provided before now. As I was a first time customer with a discount I hope I haven't wasted that first time discount on this pretend order.

what happenned to good things come to those who wait? think your all getting too negative...the dyson was at a very competitive price...but it only became a real bargain with 20% off...considering you can get a yellow model from kwik save for £125 then its very clear that the ds07 range is becoming obselete there for there would be bargains to be had...but stocks are obviously limited as there not coming off the production line no more...my guess is that those that ordered that friday evening this post was posted have a good chance of getting one....thats considering the poster did genuinely come across it at random at kelkco and this price was never pomoted in any other form..so maybe if you havent had a e-mail why not just assume your getting yours? its not even august yet!
