table tennis and football table came yesterday took me about 5 hours to put them together then i was to tired to play on any of them and today its pouring down lol

IVE HAD my call. Just had the famous Christine call me.She said Ben Nevis stock now back in. Taken my C/C details again i think this is the 4th time now. She placed the order whilst I was on the phone and has given me a new order number . Said I should have a call in a couple of days giving delivery. On the down side my tyre swing is now out of stock even though I ordered 2 seperately. She has also tried to charge 10.00 delivery. I dont think so.....my original order last week was free for the climing frame until I added the tyre then it was only £5 not £10.

I will post again when am called re delivery.

I just had my call. Like you, Bootman, I had to give my c/c details again AND the tyre swing is out of stock. They also charged the £10 delivery, despite me complaining - I'm really not happy now. How can they justify charging a tenner now when on the original deal it was FREE delivery? I don't understand. I feel cheated. Any idea who I can complain to?
............not that B&Q customer service will be interested.......

I complained to Cristine about no tyre and £10 charge said nothing she could do about either but £10 would be charged then recredited. I made a complaint to head office about the whole thing anyway last week so they still have my complaint on file. They have told me would call again when goods delivered so I will get them to do refund if needed. Who has had my 2 tyres though!!!! This item was still showing in stock up till Tuesday. I ordered 2 Last Monday.

Not very happy. Just had phone call left on my answering machine from B&Q to say that the table tennis table is discontinued. Was due to be delivered to my house tomorrow morning along with the rest of the stuff that I ordered. This is despite ordering it last Tuesday, and my c/c being charged in full for it shortly afterwards.
Phoned the delivery co and according to them there was no probs at their end, so we'll see what arrives tomorrow.

Talk about leaving it to the last minute to inform you of the bad news!

Has anyone else had a call about non-delivery of table tennis table??

For those who have actually received phone calls, first of all congratulations!!! Just out of interest - the £10 delivery charge - had you already been charged for the playcentre & then they are trying to charge you an extra £10? Or had you not yet paid & they were trying to add £10 to the cost? The money was taken from my card as soon as I placed my order a couple of Mondays ago. I have a confirmation from them for £146 for a Ben Nevis,thats what I expected to pay and that is what I have already been charged. What happens to all the 'this confirmation e-mail is a legally binding contract etc' or whatever their terms & conditions quotes? I cant believe after all this c*ck up they are now trying to charge us more. I have given my cc details twice now - I have already paid for the thing so why should I give them again?

I know its a fantastic bargain & well done to the original poster, but I'm almost starting to wish I hadn't seen it!!!!!!!!!! IF I ever get a Ben Nevis in my garden then obviously I wont mean that last sentence, but that is still a very big IF!!!!!! Let's see if I get a call tomorrow........

how about this then.. After yesterday being told that only slide would be delivered today, and Ben Nevis on Saturday, and me being quite forgiving - picture the scene- big lorry arrives outside, much excitement the slide is here, Mr Lorry opens up the back and guess what? no slide no nothing!!!! so why did the lorry come to my house? well hacked off...... took a days holiday for a delivery of fresh air!!!! UNBELEIVABLE!!!!!!!

Ordered two weeks ago, earliest delivery was today.

They've delivered 2 of 3 items (a slide and some wooden posts), but the other item is out of stock. Called CS, couldn't tell me when back in stock, could only confirm not discontinued. Not happy. How do you explain to a 3 yr old that they can't use the slide. Useless company, useless CS.

They told me that basically, they load the vans the night before, so no matter when you order, it is a case of what's in the stock room the eve of the delivery?. How stupid is that?. They don't mention to you when booking a delivery slot that if you leave it more than 1 day from ordering you're unlikely to get your items - besides, this was the earliest they could deliver to me.

How does an item go out of stock when it is part of a complete item. It's like going to a restaurant, ordering steak diane and then being told you can have the steak but not the sauce becuase some else has only ordered sauce and not the steak. Makes no sense at all, but can see other folk have the same problem here.

No table tennis table for me either - asked if it was really discontinued and the call centre woman eventually suggested that it probably wasn't - just that B&Q weren't going to get anymore in.

Are there any in store somewhere?
