My Ben nevis has just been delivered! Yay!! Mind you, I didn't get the postcard or phonecall to say when they would be bringing it. I ordered on the monday at about 8.30 am. Thanks op- I owe you a pint!!

i had a call this morning to say that the wave slide was being delivered tommorrow and Ben Nevis on Tuesday 2nd - played merryhell as hubby had tommorrow off to accept delivery as Deliver to Home had told us both were coming at the same time - B&Q called back within 5 minutes to apologise for the mix up and Ben will be with us on Saturday - so can't moan too much they cocked up and are putting it right.. at least its on its way

Has anyone got theirs up yet if so how long did it take and can you do it on your own, only the help we had lined up for thursday is not availiable on Saturday so just me and OH - should be fun.....

I put our one up myself apart from the two beams that the swings hang from (they were too heavy for me to hold and scew at the same time, so 16 year old son held them in place whilst I did the bolts).

It took me all afternoon but that was by myself....I had lots of balancing to do. 2 pairs of hands will get it up in no time. I was very impressed that all the parts were well labelled, they all had the part code printed on them so you can't go wrong really.

Just make sure the kids are out the way..... I lost count of the times I heard 'Mum is it ready yet?', lol.

Got the MckKinley today. Its raining now so will try to assemble it over weekend (hope all the bits are there 4 large pacels).

I phoned again today was treated with some sympathy and it was suggested that I should not waste my money phoning as regardless of my story they would not put me through to anyone dealing with the playcentres - that busy team are making outgoing calls only - I still struggle to believe that it is taking so long, but then a minion like me probably doesn't understand the complexity of order processing!!. She could not tell me when I would hear but hoped it would be soon and said that I should not have been promised a call on a speciifc day by anyone. She said she could take my details and pass them on but there would be no point as they wouldn't respond to my call anyway because they are working their way through their order list!! Please tell me what the point is of a customer service call centre if not to check on progress of orders or deal with queries!!. i will be trying to recover the cost of the calls probably in vain I know but I'll give it a go. Otherwise still wating for that call ...........

Ah I'm P*ssed off! I spoke too soon about my Ben Nevis!!- Theres a box missing!!! Spoke to customer services and she said they will send replacements- but I'm worried now as they are supposedly out of stock. Do they have loads of spare parts??
