    phoned again this morning to find out delivery time b&q said to phone 01902603666 but they have no record of order and she told me to back to b&q but then gave me another number for the delivery company 01902604010 and she found my order straight away and told me delivery is 3rd august just in time for our huge kiddy party on the 6th.
    Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!

    Just phone the two number you give for the delivery companies and they have no trace of my oder. Apart from one, which has the tyre and rope accessory which I already know is being delivered on Thursday.
    Just been back to B&Q to find out if I have or haven't been allocated a Ben Nevis, but unfortunatly the Ben Nevis team are in a meeting. She's took my number and is going to get one of them to give me a call as soon as they return.
    I've got a strange feeling I'm going to end up with a tyre & rope accessory and nothing to attach it to.

    I was told that I would expect a postcard today saying delivery times etc but nothing has come - does that mean anything??

    Hooray!! Ours order has just arrived everything appears to be okay apart from the delivery driver who was about 70 and just stood back and made me unload it all myself - told me he wasn't fit to be lifting all that timber - feel a cheeky email coming on to B&Q

    At this rate I would be happy to go and load the lorry myself and unload if it meant I was sure to get my Ben Nevis!!

    If I ever get my Ban Nevis play centre, I'm gonna need to store it till my garden renovation is completed (couple of months away) - how many boxes, pallets, seizes are we talking about???

    Have phone c/services again my logged complaint is still open not resolved!! c/service tells me that the lady dealing with this is training today!!! the so call team calling customers about orders will not take inbound call. At this pint I lost it with the girl and said I want to speak to the dept manager. She refused to give me their name!! even more irate at this point.. she said a team leader will call me back I wont hold my breath............
  • I don't think B&Q are doing themselves any favours now. What was undeniably a great offer is now being overshadowed by appalling customer service and dreadful order management. You'd think they would have known that there would be high demand for the products with 75% reduction in price! I shall think again before shopping at B&Q.....

    I've just called again as the person who I needed to talk to, who was 'in a meeting' earlier hadn't called me back 'within the hour' as they promised.
    Now I'm told the person who's dealing with the Ben Nevis (Kerry) is in training - But she'll put a note on her desk to call me when she gets back early this afternoon.
    I've told them, that I'll wait until 2:30pm and then I'll call again.

    Fun this isn't it?

    Well my MSE note of fame is that I was the first person to post that I had ahd my order refused! My update is this. After my order for the Multi-Gym and Wooden Castle Play Centre was refused - dixscontinued line and no more stock available - I noticed the mulit-gym was back on their web site. I took a chance and ordered it again. They have now charged my credit card and today confirmed delivery for next week.

    What does this prove. Apart fromt eh fact that B&Q are totally incompetant they are now proven liars. How coudl they say it is a discontinued line with no stock and then accept another order from me and deliver it! A letter to their CEO will follow. :mad:
