Ben Nevis is being assembled in my garden right now. (Well maybe not right now....I'm having a teabreak, lol).
Came in 5 packs..... 2 x longish uprights + 2 x square panel type packs + 1 slide. Not bad really, I expected the packs to be bigger. Easily storable I would think.
Arrived this morning, 2 days earlier than expected.
Also came with a bonus........delivery man asked if we wanted to sell our house and offered to buy it at whatever we got it valued at. As we do intend selling at some point in the not too distant future, it looks as if we might have got lucky here.Herman - MP for all!0 -

Its not Kerry it's Michael who is proccessing the Ben Nevis (for me).....and he assures me I am getting mine when new stock comes in this week...hmmmm.
I have actually had pretty good contact with them so far....will see if it results in a delivery though. Spoke to them Friday and felt I would laerve it till Wed/Thu before I hassled them again.0 -
How do you get to speak to them. When ever I call I just get fobbed off that they wont speak to you unless they the have called you. I cannot get anyone from their office to call me back I am now spending another afternoon just waiting for the phone to ring. I just keep being told that there is a team set up dealing with this. But they wont deal with me!!0

After I explained I've been calling every day since last Tuesday and all I was wanting to know is whether I have or have not had a Ben Nevis Playcentre allocated to me. She then took my surname and postcode, put me on hold for a couple of minutes and then came back saying 'After checking the list, I definitly do have a playcentre reseved in my name' and someone will call today or tomorrow to arrange delivery.

I was told the same yesterday - let's hope we all get one!! Whatever the end result i think we all just want to know now one way or the other. Personally i think this is a dreadful way to treat customers we can all accept when genuine mistakes are made or systems break down but to be constantly fobbed off and promised phone calls that never happen is not acceptable. Does anyone know what their standard 0870 call rate is? I'm dreading get my bill!!. Please post as soon as you receive a call.0

When you get your phone bill highlight all the calls to them and send with a letter to the head office. I have already told them I am doing this and expect to be reinbursed.
When I worked for a big organisation like this years ago we would refund if this was done.
After all its not our fault we have to keep calling... THEY SAVE THEIR PHONE BILL BY NOT CALLING US BACK. Not that I am angry0 -
I couldn't wait anymore so have just rung again. I spoke to Lindsay who told me that if my order is colour coded blue on their system, which I was told yesterday, then I would definitely be getting a Ben Nevis, but that they were waiting for head office to give the ok to start arranging deliveries. She said I will receive a phone call by the end of the week! Their list of excuses that they read off is getting longer & longer!0

Well I was really excited as they said my Ben Nevis will arrive tomorrow.
I didn't get a postcard through the post as promised and now they have moved the delivery date till Friday!
Problem being my baby is now due and we have a hospital appointment Friday am - so we can't get out of that!
They said they have no record of the previous phone call. Their customer service isn't great - is it? This is the first time I've ordered from B&Q online and yes it was the best bargain - but it doesn't really encourage me to buy other stuff.

Weeeellll, I've just called the number and spoken to someone.....(got fed up of waiting). I've been told that Kerry (who is sorting out the Ben Nevis situation) has put through the orders and the chap I spoke to told me that I'm on the list and will be getting one.
Trying very hard to say rational and not mention it to the boys until it's actually been delivered.

Talk about stress, I have been waiting like a lemon by the phone all day, I have even taken the phone to the loo with me in case I miss a call. I called customer services again today, well about three times actually and asked for Kerry, been told she will call back, does she ever. NO. I am on the Matterhorn list, well I hope so. Customer services said I quote "I feel sorry for Kerry she has got over 300 people to call" Sooo What, what about the customers0
