I have a dateless plate PFN 513 and have had no luck at all trying to sell it on Ebay, after you have either listed it with a BIN or with a Reserve and get offers like £10 or £20, it is just not worth the hassle or cost of listing.

It will probably be sold this year, but I won't go down the Ebay route, which route I do take, I am still pondering about. Good luck if you choose Ebay, it will be interesting to see how you get on.

Ebay will be my very last option. If something's on ebay it normally gives the impression that its cheap whereas I'm trying to market to upmarket clients.

Thanks for the support. I put the plate for sale with regtransfer for £5,000 I think they've priced it up a little to make up their commission.

I've not had the opportunity to start ringing up dealerships but I'm sure I'll start this weekend and see what they say.

192.com letters to people is also very good idea that I'm willing to give it a go.

Not sure what way to take your comments, have i done anything illegal?, accessed a database for names and addresses,sent out a standard letter and got numerous responses.
Or are you comments aimed at me because(as your previous snipes),i live in Northern Cyprus???
