Well, I'd query it. As I just said, Boots staff seem to pursue their own little paths most of the time. Mine certainly handed one over for the above purchase. But if no-one else is getting vouchers in the same set of circumstances, then maybe it's my lady who was wrong?

The till is supposed to flag up when a voucher should be given, I think.

I will ring cs tomorrow, thank you for your help, ive noticed that they scan a barcode which then puts the five pound voucher on your receipt and then they give you one, on the receipts without one they didn't scan the barcode thing

Does that mean that all the times ive handed over about my vouchers and paid about five pounds towards my purschase for no7 i should have got a voucher back as before i handed any vouchers over it came to over ten pounds, that means ive missed out on about ten vouchers. Is there anything i can do about this

I have not received a pink voucher either unless actual 'Cash/card' spend is £10 or over..

There were two clerance shelves near the cold cabinet food section but there was nothing I wanted. Didn't look everywhere though for any other deals, actually walked out empty handed!

I'd rather buy it now with the gwp than a 342, because as long as you've a pink voucher to start with 3 will cost you £45 but you will get 3 x 250pts = 750pts in the gwp bringing it net, in my eyes, to £37.50 and you have 3 gift boxes full of goodies:j :j :j

I must admit you are right. I could not get to town when they were in stock, so I bought 2 online, (no gwp though) Didn't really mind this as I have had 2 already.

Cost for me is even less really as over 60, I get 10% discount. So the £20 becomes £18, so I wonder do I have to add something over £2 to basket (Making sure its not a Boots product) in order to bring it back over £20 to get the gwp. Makes my head spin Ahhhhhhh:eek: Perhaps I should just stay at home and read this thread:T :T :T

Edit. Just realised I could add yet another highlighter powder to my basket also. (Having a senior moment and never thought of it) Can't sort the deals out as fast as you young uns. I get dizzy sometimes just reading your posts, but well done to you all.

I have gwp bags from No 7 going back over the years. I must dig them out and photgraph them. The quality has definitely gone down over the years.

I did look the the soap&glory steamy showers set and couldn't find any:confused: . I checked the section at the back I think somewhere near the photo albums. Unless there are random boxes out somewhere and it might be worth asking a SA.

I think you were lucky. The tills are programmed to offer a 5.00 No7 voucher on a 10.00+ cash (or card) spend only. I have never been given a voucher on a spend of under 10.00

Couldn't sleep - so I'm back on here addicted or what?

At least I'm not the only one this is happening to. It seems to me different things are happening in different areas, which is I suppose is where we are getting our different points of view from and why we think we are correct when working out shopping lists. It's just one of the many inconsistencies in the wonderful world of boots:D

I was told when they first came out that I would have to physically pay £10 or over regardless of coupons, or which order they are put in, or what the total pre-spend was and ever since in all the Boots I go to this seems to have applied. I often think it depends on which members of staff serve you, some might hand them out willy-nilly while others only do it when prompted by the system. It's a bit like the beeps, some just over-ride them and others take them as law:rolleyes:

Anyways, changing topics I've just had a good little shop on .com will post now. How expensive is not not sleeping;)

    (my local store is Luton).
As my first trip to my local in Luton a week ago was succesful I went ahead hopefully with my purchases :-
    1 x Instance Radiance concealer - £12.00
    2 x Pantene - 2 for £4.00
    1 X Highlighter - £10.50
    1 x GWP

I handed over the No 7 pink £5.00 voucher and then the highlighter voucher and paid £11.00 in total and also managed to get another £5.00 voucher and another Boots mag (to use for another day's free highlighter)

I was pleased with this but as I had my 250 point voucher in my purse from my first transaction a week ago I thought I would use it and get 250 points when purchasing the 'revitalising hand saviour' which was £10.50 and I had my last £5.00 voucher from the last transaction. Handed them both over and the young SA scanned the £5.00 off and then the 250 points but the points wouldn't work - she said it is probably because it says it can't be used with any other discount etc.. and which one did I want to use. I decided on the £5.00 off and just paid and went. Could anyone tell me if it would have worked if she had scanned the points coupon first? I am kicking myself that I didn't leave it and try again or even pick up another highlighter and get another GWP but it's too late now and I just panicked when the till bleeped!!
Could anyone help before I go in and make another 'unsuccessful' purchase. On the plus side I did pick up another magazine so I have two highlighters to 'purchase' before this offer finishes but not too long left to purchase them in and I also have another GWP for my 3 DD's to raid!!
Apologies for the long post and thanks in advance :T

Hi  from one luton bootser to another:D

    RE: 250points vouchers:

I used a 250points voucher today and it went through ok. I always hand over my vouchers in the order I want the SA to scan them, because if you hand them over all together, the SA might not put them through in the correct order. However, when I bought the P&P collection yesterday, the 250points didn't scan, so the SA put the points on manually for me - this was at the luton branch.

Only reallllllly needed the clarifying lotion, but net to me is £17.74 and the lotion is £14. Someone mentioned that there is another 75% sale mid-year, so I am purposely building up points now as a sort of savings plan for it and intend to buy everything with points in the sale- that way although it's a lot to pay out now - it will more than pay for itself later.:D :D

    I think you are right:D

can all bootsers who are given vouchers on a spend of under 10.00 please name the store so I can do my shopping there? :rotfl:

RE: dot.com. Are you allowed to use more than one code, and is there a limit to how many codes you can use per order?
