I think you're all right, I'm talking rubbish and I just had a lucky moment when the SA got in a dither, same as occasionally you get wrong change in a shop. I get a lot of £5 vouchers anyway because I'm usually in for quite legit non-offer purchases of things at pharmacyand/or some luch (I think the Meal Deals are a bargain all on their own!) so I hardly needed an extra voucher, lol, and remember inwardly rolling my eyes at it.

The Fort? - in Cheetham Hill Manchester? If so, i'm off there today
Regularly do the Manchester stores Arndale/Trafford Centre etc.

At least I'm not the only one this is happening to. It seems to me different things are happening in different areas, which is I suppose is where we are getting our different points of view from and why we think we are correct when working out shopping lists. It's just one of the many inconsistencies in the wonderful world of boots:D

I was told when they first came out that I would have to physically pay £10 or over regardless of coupons, or which order they are put in, or what the total pre-spend was and ever since in all the Boots I go to this seems to have applied. I often think it depends on which members of staff serve you, some might hand them out willy-nilly while others only do it when prompted by the system. It's a bit like the beeps, some just over-ride them and others take them as law:rolleyes:

Anyways, changing topics I've just had a good little shop on .com will post now. How expensive is not not sleeping;)

pinkytots. I gave myself a headache, and you too, so I can only apologise about the confusion I created about the pink vouchers.

My oh sat me down last night, with some of the receipts, (we didn't have time to go through them all, and I should lol there but I'm still sooooo embarrassed that I daren't lol) and showed me how I couldn't have received them in the way in which I said I had, although he did recall me getting a pink voucher, or two maximum, at the beginning of the promotion for some reason.

He explained how, (because I automatically always round things up, as he does, to £10 or £20), that I couldn't have received them (or GWP) on purchases since - unless I'd spent, at the end of the transaction, either £10, £16 or £20 - in hard cash (or bendy plasticky cash lol). The receipts proved him right. He knows how I came to the conclusion I did, but to explain it would take a post twice the length of the one I just lost (lol?)

I'm so sorry if I've confused anyone.

I don't know whether to look for another dark room, or post up my recent online order lol, but apologies once again for any confusion (and headaches!) I created. I'll stop analysing peoples' shopping lists from now on, scouts honour, or whatever the female equivalent is. x

Fort Kinnaird Edinburgh, sorry. I think there are several "Forts" around. Seems to be a popular name for shopping centres.

Does anyone know how to do mobile top ups at boots ? ( only so I can get No7voucher!!) normally I do it at the cash machine, do you need that credit card thingy with your number on that comes with the phone?

1 x Illum Powder £10.25 (or is it .75?)
1 x GWP

then vouchers handed over in this order:
250 points from previous GWP
Free Illum power voucher from mag
£5 pink No. 7 voucher

I'm not too bothered about the 250 points TBH as I already have £225 worth on my card :eek: :eek: ) but wouldn't mind yet another GWP to give to a friend.

Would appreciate advice, many thanks

Broadmarsh had a tiny display in the tills queue near the doors.
