Hi masonsmum,
Yes you can buy it at Ikea and there are recipes to make the sauce on this thread: HM Ikea style Meatballs?

Stick them in the freezer for now, and take them out in about a month or so, one morning when you know you're going to be pushed for time that day - then when you get home at night, all you'll have to do is wap some tomato sauce on them (also frozen at the same time, if you have any kicking around!) and sort out a bit of pasta. A great dinner, 7 minutes and no effort!Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

Ikea sauce is just some beef stock, cream, splash of soy sauce and i add lots of white pepper. not sure if the pepper is supposed to be included but i like it!!0

You could put them in a tray with some gravy, chopped onion & any other veg you fancy, top them with mashed potato & grated cheese and serve like a shepherd's pie. I've done this before for a change and it was surprisingly tasty

Lasagna. Use layers of meatballs (halved if you need) instead of the mince, you could just have the cheesy sauce or you could put the meatballs in some tomato sauce first. I've seen an Italian recipe that uses meatballs rather than ragu so it isn't completely inauthentic!Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000

Made some lovely lamb meatballs tonight, just mince, egg, breadcrumbs, oregano, cumin, paprika, s+p. baked them so fat drained away, then covered them in a spicy mexican sauce that needed using up. Served with hm wedges and roasted peppers. OH loved them and he is quite fussy about his meatballs!0
