ps ohhhhhhhh forgot snacks ....not sure looking for some low fat stuff as im dieting :@(
  • Hello all

Think i missed out last weeks plan totally for some reason :o:confused: although i haven't actually 'cooked' anything real this week apart from Sunday dinner, its all been meals that i had made up in the freezer in the effort to clear it out a bit so i could put more stuff in lol

Anyway, my way of meal planning is changing due to the new clients OH's team have, means he'll be in London 3 days a week for the next couple of months :j (calm down Kate!! ;) ) but those 3 days change from week to week. So i'm just going to write down 5 weekday meals and allocate them as and when i know when he's here or not (Like if we had Shepherds Pie without him he'd probably cry lol!). Weekends can be planned as normal.

    Fri (tomorrow) - Chicken Fahijtas
    Sat - At MIL's
Sun - Roast chicken, stuffing, mash, carrots, cabbage and gravy
    Weekdays....

    Spag Bol
    Egg, chips, beans
    Cheesy bacon pasta bake
    Sausgae casseole, mash, veg#
    Chicken curry and rice

Have a good week all :)

  • Whoops! Two days working in London last week obviously frazzled my brain and I forgot to post my menu plan!

I went a bit mad in the freezer last weekend and made: 10 portions of Bolognese sauce, 10 portions of chilli con carne, 8 portions of chilli bean and red pepper soup, and 6 portions of bean and vegetable chilli...

Then I realised I had to fit it all in the freezer!

Just about managed it in the end, so I can sympathise lilmisskitkat :D

    So this week's plan:

Fri: Spaghetti bolognese + wine + Moving Wallpaper & Echo Beach on TV :D
    Sat: Visiting my folks
Sun: Eggs and home made wedges (going to give my new heart shaped food rings from Tesco a trial run before Valentine's Day)
Mon: Chunky vegetable soup, bread, cheese
    Tues: Cottage pie, brussel sprouts
Wed: Spicy chicken, mashed potatoes, peas, carrots
Thu: Steak, HM chips, salad...still thinking about dessert...

have everything in for above meals, may end up freezing stew & pasta. have tonnes of eggs that need eating but i am trying to lose weight so dont want to do yummy baking
