Hi Guys!!

How did everyone do last week? We had one meal change because I/we forgot to get something out the freezer:rolleyes:

Anyway, this week we are having:

Saturday: Chicken, Roasties, Yorkies & 2 Veg
Sunday: Round Friends (Indian I think)
Monday: Toad In Hole, New Pots & Roast Veg
Tuesday: (SC)Lamb Stew & Dumplings
Wednesday: FishPie & 2 Veg
Thursday: Shepherds Pie & 2 Veg

Have everything in apart from fruit/veg/fridge...so aiming for under £25 this week:D ...praying anyway:p

My week went **ts up, the turkey and ham in mushroom sauce still hasn't appeared, getting bumped again!

This week will contain half term, so may be 'flexible' as well.

Thurs: Oh dear! haven't sorted that out yet! Might end up with eggs!

    Friday: Lentil/Veggie lasagne

Saturday: DH is employee of the month, going to Loch Fyne with £100 to spend. It's iniquitous, but will enjoy it nonetheless!

Sunday:Tortilla Beany Bake... not tried before, from Veg Socy website

Monday: Spag Bol, reg or vegi

Tues: Burgers Spicy (pork or Vegi Bean) and Potato wedges, trimmings

Wed: cassoulet (Duck and sausages in there. DD away)

Thurs: SOup and Pudding (either P and Ham or chicken), treacle sponge

Friday: Tuna? Not sure how. In the Freezer. Suggestions welcome.

Saturday: Pasta bake, maybe ham and turkey in it?

    All suggestions gratefully received.

I stuck to plan last week but switched around the days a bit.

This week we will be having (all home made)

Sun - spicy beanburgers and wedges (1st attempt)
Mon - pasta and made up sauce (depends on cupboard contents)
Tue - noodles with prawns and spicy peanut sauce
Wed - leek and potato soup with bread and cheese
Thur - pizza with tuna, sweetcorn, peppers and black olives
Fri - faggots and mash and gravy again

Mrs Toxxy, do you have a recipe for faggots? I think ds would like those. I made bean burgers for dd a couple of weeks ago for the first time and we all enjoyed them.

well mine is a bit sketchy so I will update it in a couple of days. My parents are coming up this w/e and DH and I are going to dinner so Im yet to work it out precisely. However, having gone through the freezer contents I have devised several meals, so we will be having 7 of these this week.

    Pizza
Corned Beef Hash with spuds, veg and beans in,
Tuna, tomato, veg, pasta bake, with cheese on top,
HM sausage pasty, mash and beans
toad in the hole with roast spuds, veg,
pasta bolognaise bake with cheese sauce,
    spaghetti carbonara with bacon.

    Hiya Folks  ,

Last week I had a few changes, mainly to use up some stuff in fridge rather than throw it out. STILL trying to use up freezer contents, prob never will as I batch cook & can't resist a bargain....so freezer always seems full.

    Here's this weeks grub.....

TODAY: Breaded cod, mash (without butter), veg & white sauce (made with skimmed milk). Trying to cut down.

FRIDAY: Tuna pasta bake with salad.

SATURDAY: H/m lasagne with spicy wedges & salad.

SUNDAY: Low fat chicken tikka masala with rice, naan bread & salad.

MONDAY: Bacon, eggs, beans & waffles.

TUESDAY: Garlic chicken, spuds, veg & pepper sauce or gravy.

WEDNESDAY: Spaghetti bolognese & garlic bread.

THURSDAY: Chicken, peppers, mushrooms, beansprouts, noodles & curry sauce.

Look forward to reading everyone's mealplans.
