Yes, the guys in Spenders are great aren't they? We pop in when we can. had a good old natter to Steve last week - lovely fella, and one of the first people that we met face to face from a forum when we moved over. he helped us with loads of advice when we were planning everything.

We were in Costa Teguise this afternoon... and got a friendly welcome as always.

No worries Elle! I knew as soon as you mentioned Sue, and the lads from Spenders, that you must be a reg poster over yonder! :j

Me & OH can't wait to go back over there, this time we will be with the kids. Last time there it was just me & Steve and there were heaps of things to do, but I felt guilty because the kids weren't with us, so of course we HAVE to go back again!

To be honest, me and Steve fell in love with the place and once the kids are all grown up (maybe before if we win the lottery!), we would love to live out there (you lucky lucky thing! )


Joe is a poster from here & nellysplace who tragically passed away last month, bless his soul xx

It's a fantastic place to live, Shellsuit (God - you don't really wear a shellsuit anymore do you?). We were saying this tonight as we were driving home. It's hard work to build a business... but once you do it - there's just nothing like it! It really feels like home, and is the first place for me that ever has really.
Anyway, am off to open the vino!

I've never worn a shellsuit in my life believe it or not :rotfl: my name is Shell (well, Michelle) and it was just a nickname I earnt for myself because I'm a bit of an 80's throwback

Hola Floster - Edna's answered the Papagayo question for you. They really are lovely beaches!

I've been here since September 2006. It's very much home. Great island!

Blimmin eck love! You're only going for a week! Ha ha ha ha!
I did type out how I'd minimise further lol... but then I'm a REALLY light traveller. 4 days in Madrid, and I only took a small rucksack - and that was as hand luggage.
I can't remember when you're coming over... but have a fantastic time!
