I used to reply to every letter they sent and one time they sent me a letter complaining I had not contacted them and would have to take serious action now - so I listed all the correspondance I had sent them.
There customer service for people with problems is basically not there! Good for you not returning there calls the reason they insist on getting us on the telephone is they know its a proven method of getting more out of the pot.0 -
I have contacted the Students Loan and they cannot reduce payments as the deductions are connected to my Tax deductions of 9% of my earnings at any given month! Bit of a blow but need to stay focussed!
Anyone know of a list/link of professions which would not be allowed to enter on an IVA or Bankrupcy or even DMP! I have surfed the web for the information but can't find anything!
Thanks in advance :rotfl:"The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person's determination."Debt free in 4 years  _party_0 -
Well, after the delightful telephone call last night my lovely postman delivered a letter from Lloyds.
I did chuckle however at the comment within the letter that says "it would appear that this account is currently a low priority to you."
Low priority? We think of nothing but our debts and how we are going to pay them off!!!!!! Argh!
Anyway, they have threatened legal action, dead horse's head in the bed and that sort of thing, so I will pass the letter to Payplan and write to Lloyds explaining WE ARE ON A DMP WITH PAYPLAN!

Hi Folks
Update re my current situation
Toady I have registered a formal complaint with KPR re their continuous harassment, also copied Nationwide and Payplan.
Anyone who is unsure of KPR, they come under Nationwide Building Society umbrella, hence why Payplan do not correspond with them.
I have 2 accounts with Nationwide, Credit Card account, and Flex account, today I have received a letter from KPR offering a discount on my Flex account balance, providing it's paid in full, I have no idea what the discount is, as I'm not contacting them, strangely, this letter is from the same company (KPR) who issued me with a letter re my Credit card balance threatening my home is at risk.
Yesterday when I received the threatening letter from KPR I was stressed to say the least, now I have made a formal complaint, I feel much more settled within myself.
Thanks for all the support and advice, chin up folks, some creditors have created a battle between us and them, it's now a question of who wins.
Will keep you all posted.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

Does not suprise me at all Lloyds from my personal experience have no idea what they are doing.
It is actually quite insulting that they consider you consider it a low priority! A Grrrrrrrrrr from here too.0 -

Hmm not sure if this is any help but I recently had a letter inviting me to for a school governor position, the way I read the letter I would not be able to do it if bankrupt and possibly not IVA - but a DMP is not a legal thing it is just an "informal" if you like arrangement.0 -
10past6 - Nice to hear you with some fighting spirit - and pretty much not what they would expect from you after the letter they sent. Amazes me how one department says one thing about a debt and same company different debt say something else - no consistancy!0
