sorry don't understand - sacked by cccs or your job???
They sacked me because i sold my house and didn't use my equity to pay my debts - I bought a cheaper home instead.0 -
I'm expecting a statutory demand from one of my creditors over the coming week. Has anyone received one and, did you respond yourself or use a solicitor? I guess I'm trying to prepare myself and wonder if using a solicitor is the wiser option. Thanks for any advice.0

no from the cccs cause i dont know if ive done something a bit silly that they wont agree with
i changed to a basic bank account when i first started out with them and only have a hole in the wall card, all other cards were cut up and ditched. in may last year i needed a card i could use other than in a cash machine and probably through my own fault hit a bit of a skint month so i stupidly got Capital One card but it only has a small limit on it. i dont know if cccs are going to get wind of this and say ive broken our agreementDebts @ 10/03/08 15333.75

Hi all,
not been on this thread for a while, i have question but don't know if will get a reply! And sorry if it sounds like waffle:o
I am on a dmp with payplan and my budget is following their guide lines, as are all dmpers, but with food budget and clothes budget (my mum bless her buys the kids something nearly every week) i do not always spend the whole amount! So do i save this as my emergency fund OR do i redo my budget to account for this OR do i save the money and throw a lump sum at payplan occasionally if i've saved it up!
Just wondered if anyone else has thought of this (am addicted to os board now:D ) Thanks bess xI know i'm in my own world~it's ok they know me here!!!

Me personally I would put it in an emergency fund even set up an ISA, but that is mainly because I had a year of "Eastenders" type storylines which made me realise all the things I had saved up for life still managed to throw some curve balls.
If worse comes to the worse you will build a nest egg which you can make offers to companies and pay them off.0
