Ive got two walk in ones. They do get very hot in summer and need the door rolled up nearly all day. You can always tie netting inside to shade plants.
Mine have bbeen so useful.I was going to save for a real glass one but they are so good Im not going to bother to now.0 -

I had a walk in one last year. Left it up over the winter, it was doing okay, the plastic covering was ripping in a few places but other than that, it was fine (until the fence next to it snapped (rotten) and slammed into it in a gale and wrecked the whole thing). it does get very hot in there when its sunny. I had a thermometer up in mine and even in the summer we had last year, with all that rain and cool temperatures, it was frequently up past 35*C, sometimes even over 40*C if i'd not opened it until midday.
in order to help with the wind factor i sited mine very carefully: made sure the door was as close to the house as possible, and away from the main direction of the wind, to minimise the amount of wind going into it on a windy day. I also tied the guy lines through the plastic to the actual frame itself - which made the whole thing much sturdier. i dug a 20-30cm deep hole in the ground, stuck boards around the edge to make a sort of bed, then dropped the whole greenhouse inside that hole, so you had to step "down" into the greenhouse to get in. finally, half the greenhouse had a wooden pallet down in it, stretched over the base pole structure, in order to weigh it down. as i said, it worked fine, and would probably still be there it it hadn't been for the fence (social housing property and they wouldn't repair it till it completely went). i'm now considering getting a proper glass one from argos for £179 but thats more to do with wanting to be able to leave it up over the winter than anything.
the plastic ones are great and i'd recommend them, but you do have to be *very* careful where you site them (i.e. top of a windy, exposed hill is NOT good) and take all the precautions you can to weight it down.
