Does anyone know how much the Aldi ones are going to be? Have and Aldi and a Lidl just up the road (lucky me) so will wait till next week to get one if a good price. Last one I had blew away/crushed by falling fence panel (don't ask).
    Thanks

    They're £12.99 - both the 3-tier and 4-tier ones.

We bought 2 of these the year before last, from Poundstretcher I think, and they came in extremely handy. The covers are shot now, but I'm using the shelves as staging in my allotment greenhouse.
  • Thanks Mumhug I bought my £30 plastic walk in greenhouse yesterday and I am now waiting for OH to put it up for me. Had a small one last year which was a great success so looking forward to all the melons, cucumbers, chillies, aubergines now.

i had one of these christmas 06 and used it all through last spring and summer last year. i kept all my young plants untill ready to go out and my pepper an chilli plants stayed all summer (door open on the hotest days). it was great, it also stores all the bits and piecec (compost, water can, plant food, slug pellets etc) on the bottom shelf. it is sited against a wall - not tied - but i have not has any problems with stability in the wind, maybe as it is so full of compost and terrecotta pots it is well weighted.

My local instore which is now a poundstretcher has these for £10 I think. Ours from there split along the zip seams last year. The plastic seemed to shrink in the sun. The Woolies one and a few others I have seen seem to have stronger plastic, almost with a reinforced mesh so I think these may last better, is it worth the £30..........

Just bought a plastic greenhouse today - half price in Focus for £13.99.
Exactly the same as this one:- http://www.keengardener.co.uk/product/Halls_Multi_Grow/251/view.rails

Had to go back to Homebase and ask for my money back on the one I'd bought for £26 which was almost exactly the same! Luckily they are both next door to each other ;)

  • Obviously my own opinion but i picked up the woolies 30quid greenhouse today and the plastic connectors for the poles are awfull quality. I had 2 spilt as i was putting the poles in and one completly snap, not the best way to start the day. Looks pretty good now its up but those 3 pieces have been taped and glued, so wont last long. Hoping for some replacement parts from woolies as i have emailed them. If you get one be extra carefull putting the poles in. I'm only female so not that heavy handed lol
