They have a 14 days cooling off period after that if you transfer you have to transfer all the isa plus for a 3 year fixed ISA you lose 270 days interest. Contact them as you are within the 14 days cooling off period and ask what you can do??"Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

Unfortunately the modern world hasn't dawned on ISA's yet. I think the money transfer between most institutions is in the form of a cheque! So you can see why it takes a while.
I could dream of a world where NI numbers were attached to ISA accounts, so that cash ISAs could be transferred as fast as fastpay! But then the institutions would have to spend some money updating their software and procedures. Ah well. Maybe next century!Wearing my other one today.0 -
Thanks for info, only problem is the current Isa is dropping to 0.25%. As I am a non tax payer I could probably get better rate than that in a savings account. I suppose I could hold on to see how long the fix is advertised for. Tried to apply for the Santander but there seems to be a problem when putting in my husbands occupation. By the way trying to sort out both our Isas not just mine.0

Do as David78 advised and only move closed years and then look around for another isa which allows transfers in and get them to transfer the savings you put in yesterday. Leeds Building Society can be done online and is offering 2.55%. I do it for my husband too, says I'm better with computers!!"Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

Hi, I opened a barclays loyalty reward cash isa in September 2012. The rate for the first year is 3.05% but in September will drop. The best cash isa current seems to be paying about 2.55%. I'm thinking about opening a new cash isa for 2013. My question is can I/should i keep my old cash in barclays (not making any more deposits) until september then transfer in to the new isa when the barclays rate drops?
Top payer on new money, easy access is Coventry @ 2.6% until end of tax year, see here for full list, updated daily/on change by Kazza - Thanks Kazza:T

For top paying easy access on transfers it's Santander @ 2.50% (minimum £2500), but this rate is dropping to a paltry 2% tonight, so open now to lock in rate (details of this account should also be on link above), and you can transfer 2 weeks before Barclays ISA matures (transfer process takes about this long, so they say).
I'm doing this on advice from staff in branch, made appointment for them to do transfer from Barclays for me.TARGET Deposit for my 1st house!:A NEED£30k:eek: WANT£45k GOT 1stDRegSaver:£1200@ 6% GROSS 1/10/15||SantanderISA:£11,820.41 @ 2.30% 16/04/16| Newcastle BS ISA:£15,149.80 @ 3.02%|Santander123 Cashback earnings: £274.48|TotalCashSavings:£32,302|Last Update:22/2/15:T

I currently have an Isa with Halifax which I want to transfer which has about 10k in. But in subsequent months I will still be able to save so am I right in saying I could open another one for this. I did put some money in my current one yesterday, this one drops from 3% next week to 0.25%. It was only a few hundred so hopefully will be able to put the remainder of this years allowance in the new one. It is the Halifax fixed I want to move to.
Thanks for your help:)
please see link I posted on my previous post for top payers.
You will need check terms as top payer on new money, Coventry @ 2.6% does not allow transfers in.TARGET Deposit for my 1st house!:A NEED£30k:eek: WANT£45k GOT 1stDRegSaver:£1200@ 6% GROSS 1/10/15||SantanderISA:£11,820.41 @ 2.30% 16/04/16| Newcastle BS ISA:£15,149.80 @ 3.02%|Santander123 Cashback earnings: £274.48|TotalCashSavings:£32,302|Last Update:22/2/15:T

Right think I have it sorted. Fingers crossed! Have applied for the Leeds Isa. So I can shift everything across and still add to it throughout the year. Will send off a cheque and transfer my current Isa. Printer playing up so forms being sent out.
Hope I have done things right. Seemed easier buying a house. Thanks everyone.0 -
Hi,
Had a bit or a trawl but didn't find a definitive answer to my question.
I currently have 3 ISA funds with different suppliers each paying various rates with various anniversary offers that will expire at different times in the year.
My question is if I open the Cheshire BS one paying 2.3 until Oct 2014 is can I transfer in the 3 different accounts at different times of the year. Currently I'm getting between 2.7% and 3.5% on the others so would only want to transfer once they lose the bonus %.
Hopefully then if future years it will just be one transfer per year making it easy.

Only for as long as Cheshire continues to allow more transfers in.
