Hi,
I have (hopefully) a quick query and that is if I transfer my Cash ISA from Intelligent Finance to Nationwide e-ISA then can I still deposit money this financial year upto the allowance of £5,100?
For clarification, I have not done anything this financial year with regards to my ISA (either deposit or transferred).
Thanks in advance.0 -

Will I be able to open the Birmingham Midshires account at 2.7% for my old money, but not pay anything into that account this year? Then I could pay my new money into the Barclays 3.1% ISA. Or will Birmingham Midshires insist on me paying this year's money as well?
You can do as you say (in bold).0 -
I'm trying to transfer my Golden and 'Tax Haven' ISAs from Barclays to Santander - on their ISA Transfer form they want the address of the current provider - this probably seems like a daft question, but does anyone know whether I put my local Barclays Branch, or do I have to put the addresses that relate to the sort codes (both different for each ISA), which are somewhere in Liverpool??
Many thanks if anyone can tell me whether this matters!
They use this so they send the form to them. I would personally put branch where you opened it, as they can send it to the appropriate place if need be.0 -

Yes you can (as long as the e-ISA allows further deposits, which I suspect it does).0 -
Just need some clarification if anyone can help.
I Have an ISA with Natwest at the moment, can I transfer this to an ISA that accepts tranfers AND open another for new customers with another bank?
I didnt think you were allowed to pay money into 2 ISA`s in the same tax year??0 -

Transferring isn't paying in.
You transfer using a form. Not by taking money out and putting it in again.0 -
I'm currently filling out the online form to open a Halifax Fixed Rate ISA and one of the fields has me confused. For 'Occupation' I selected 'unemployed (without inc)', but for the very next field, 'Employment type', the only option for unemployed has '(with income)' tagged on.
Which do I select? Thank ye!0 -
Already have a fixed rate Isa maturing end of April, and want to transfer it to Yorkshire banks fixed rate 5yr bond , which they say will stay open until 30th April, whats the best way timingwise to make sure there is minimum transfer time. Do I try and open it now hoping they will do all the preparation early and have their transfer request from Coventry in place asap , or is allowing them to sit on it a bad idea incase it gets lost under new stuff on their desks by the end of the month?0
