Personally, I'd still use it. However, I'd ensure that it was thoroughly defrosted, and then maybe use it in something. A posh fish pie? Of course, as with anything that's been frozen, cook it thoroughly. Again, with a fish pie, it's cooked twice.
If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5? :)

I'd also use it. I tend to do that with all the mystery freezer products

Cook and enjoy, unless it stinks upon cooking/serving

The taste and texture might have been affected, but assuming it was fine when it went in and hasn't been allowed to defrost at all, it should be fine to eat. Bacteria cannot grow at that temperature.

There are various rules which state you should use frozen food within x amount of time, but these don't relate to food safety; it's because the taste and texture of food can deteriorate.

It's common sense to avoid eatng it if it smells off, of course, but that would apply to supposedly fresh fish as well.

as the other post says - it can live in your freezer indefinitely, but, after a certain amount of time it will begin to deteriorate in taste and appearance. It shouldn't however kill you!
I would never throw away stuff from the freezer unless it shows very obvious signs of deterioration - and only then if the taste would be affected or I needed it to look 'pristine'!
