no, you aren't supposed to, but I have done and survived - and I do have a sensitive tummy. just make sure the food is absolutely piping hot!0

As long as you cover the food when it's too hot for any bugs to survive, so that they can't get to it while it's warm enough for them to survive & thrive (the so-called "danger zone"), then you should be OK.If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?

If it was me...I wouldn't but I don't do things like that really so my tummy isn't very resilient."More people would learn from their mistakes if they weren't so busy denying them." - Harold J. Smith:cool:0

Hi sorry, just a very quick question
Cooked a chilli (with mince) last week and froze into portions, defrosted a couple of portions yesterday and heated them in microwave but didn't eat it all, and once cooled, I put the leftovers back in the fridge.
Is that still gonna be ok reheated tonight for tea?
I'm sure it is, just need to check.
Mind blank!
thanks0 -
Meat heated twice and any left would be in he bin. Not that it ever happens, oh would scoff the lot.The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0

I think the technically correct answer is no - food that's been cooked and frozen and recooked and allowed to chill shouldn't be warmed back up.
However - I'd say mince is relatively low risk and I'd certainly be doing it!0 -
In word, No.
3 or 4 days off work ?? is it really worth the riskmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I have done it with no ill effects.0
