  • Nothings happened as yet........

I rang them this morning before i went into work and they were so busy, so they told me to call them back this evening when I get home and hopefully someone will be able to help me then.

Just counted up all my debts and in total it amounts to 24,792.04!!!

Thought I was depressed before..........seeing it written down makes it worse.

Anyway, before even speaking with Payplan, I know that I would want to try and do this DIY style (obviously with all your help - could never do it without you guys......no way!)

The thing is, I know that my credit rating will be affected (actually it already is), but my mortgage fixed rate ends next year and i am sure this will not help me with getting a new rate with a different lender if need be.

Anyway, for now I will see what Payplan says and take it from there.

    Speak later

  • Hi Sporter,

Hope everything goes well with Paypal! Hope you got the chance to talk with them! I hate it when banks etc ring me...im in work and can never take their calls. Bah humbug, but just take a longer teabreak ;) and stand outside, that's what i had to do! lol Oh and Ovaltine is good for the sleepless nights, I know for sure :(

    Good Luck!!!

  • Glad you managed to speak to them but sorry you've got to wait until this evening to actually get any sense out of them.

I know it seems a scary amount - but knowing exactly what you're dealing with is the first step to sorting it out. Sometimes imagining what it is can be even worse. You've made huge strides in sorting this and you will get there.

Let us know how you get on tonight.

You could also do the on-line remedy on the CCCS web-site if you want to see what is possible?

  • Just rang Payplan.............again they're so busy and no one can take my call at the moment:mad:

Might get a call later on (they close at 9pm) or tomorrow.

When is this going to end (or should I say, when is this going to start?)

Feels like I'm wasting time, I need to start doing SOMETHING.

Looks like another restless night for me again...............

Does it have to be Payplan?

Why not call CCCS. They are not open now, but they are open until 8pm most nights. And you can do the debt remedy on-line, so they have a load of your information before they even speak to you, which saves time.

  • Hi everyone,

Just spoke to Payplan. Not looking good.............

They said that I dont have enough money at the end of the month to go on a DMP. I should at least have 100 pounds. Suggested that I speak with creditors directly and make a small token payment with them.

Here is my long awaited SOA:-

    Mortgage 700
    Council Tax - 102
    Gas/electric - 54
    Water rates - 39
    Building/contents - 20
    Telephone/Sky/Broadband - 60
    Life insurance - 33
    Mobile - 60
    Food - 150
    Car tax/insurance/fuel etc - 60

    Monthly income - 1200
    Child benefit - 78
    Child Tax Credit - 158

    Help!

As i stated before, I am really worried that when fixed rate comes to an end next year May, my credit rating will be so bad that i wont be able to get a good rate.

What can I do? I am seeking an additional income, working from home etc but cant find anything as yet. Any ideas would be helpful.
