I see they were testing this cream against some others on that strange "How to look good naked" programme last night. I missed the end though, does anybody know what the conclusion was?

Just to warn you though although I might be in the minority but after using it for a week it brought me out with dreadful spots on my cheeks not just pimples but acne looking ones, as soon as I stopped using it spots cleared up eventually and I have never been one for spots even as a teenager which was along time ago!

nico26 I just got back from 4 months in India .Dont use Coconut oil on your hair it does nothing for it.Coconut oil on face i wouldnt use either as all the dust over there it will all stick to your face.
This year i took Aussie conditioner for coloured hair and that worked excellent, but i then put on Pantene leave on hair moisturizer and i had no frizzy dry hair.[/qu"

coconut oil is very good at guarding against nits so quite good for kiddies who go to schools with inherant nit problems  , the oil apparently makes it difficult for the blighters to grip the hair, :D

    I've been Money Tipped!
Has anyone tried the Lacura Eye Gel form Lidl, it is on the same shelf as the Sienna stuff?

I bought some to try today, for £1.49 and was wondering if this has the same effect as the creams.

I bought some of this and it was fine for a couple of days, today I put it on (the face cream) and it made my face burn.

The night cream has been OK so far though.
  • I have just brough a jar of the night cream by the tills, didnt look for the day cream but after reading this I think I will. From some of the notes about the reactions to the cream, you have to be careful with the night one as retinol shouldnt be used in sunlight as strips the skin, even if you put in on at night you ought to put a sunscreen on the next morning. Retinol is a great product through but dont know much about Q10 and what that does.

I am in india just now and everyone swears by coconut oil for there skin and hair. Going to have to try it as my hair is a wreck with the heat.

Just watch it as it cooks you nicely, a good alternative which has a level of natural sunscreen is olive oil but you wont find it in india or possibly in a top notch restaurant.
