I have been using the Day and Night Cream @ £1.89 each and the 2 Foam Washes @ 99p each since Monday, fantastic buys.

Excellent results so far evened and smoothed out complexion, they give you a healthy glow - definately a keeper.

Good stocks @ Old Kent Road go get it!!!:j

Has anyone tried the Bharti Vyas range from Tesco? Brilliant and feels and performs like a much more expensive cream. The day gel is fantastic and doesn't give that after-shine appearance mid-morning. Smells lovely and fresh too. Around 3.50 for the day cream and night cream. I've tried everything, and I mean everything, from really expensive to run-of-the-mill and this beats the lot, hands down.

Oh, so true ... how many of us have handed over good money in exchange for a promise of instant vitality and freshness - nothing that a good night's sleep and a bit of self-nurturing couldn't put right!

Hi Sadie22, that's really unfortunate about the rash, I suppose not everything is for everybody - just goes to show how diverse we all are! I find it quite astringent, but then my skin is prone to greasiness at times, tightness at others, and I find that I need to alternate between the day and night cream to maintain the balance.

If you drink green tea try using the cooled tea bag as a face toner just pat it over your skin packed with antioxidants helps calm and protect the skin.;)

Most researchers agree that tea (black, green, or white) has potent anti-inflammatory properties and that it is a potent antioxidant. Current research also indicates that epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), an extract of tea, can prevent collagen breakdown and reduce UV damage to skin (Source: Journal of Dermatological Science, December 2005, pages 195–204).

I tried infusing my tea bag a bit longer in a bit more water after I made my cup, then used the resulting "infusion" as toner, wiped on with a cotton wool pad, i believe it will keep a few days in the fridge. I also used some of the infusion in my home made face cream, with jojoba and wheatgerm oil.

Out of curiousity, what's the difference between a day cream and a night cream? (Other than one is for use during the day and the other at night!)

The day creams are lighter ie thinner than the night creams which are a lot richer and feel thicker when you apply them.

Read that night creams are thicker to help support your skin whilst you are sleeping when it needs to regenerate.
