I never had spots as a teenager but since I've been in my 30's I get PMT outbreaks plus reactions to unsuitable products. I'm now gonna try some products from REN and Organic Pharmacy. Yes they are expensive, but as they are natural they shoudn't cause anything like this. You only get 1 skin so it's best to look after it and I was considering using natural products anyway as quite a lot of ingredients in mainstream producta are very bad, e.g the same stuff they make anti-freeze from!0

:j hi
I finally managed to get hold of a jar of the aldi night cream. They had loads in Middlesbrough, both day and night.:D
I have been using it for 2 days and its one of the best creams I have ever used, it leaves a lovely sheen on your face. I am going back to stock up, don't think I will go to using the lidl one or nivea.
as soon as you apply it, you can see why its won awards :j'If you judge people, you have no time to love them'

They have plenty of the day and night cream at Aldi in Sunderland, but alas......
I recently bought three pots of the day cream for my two daughters and myself, two of us find it great, but my younger daughter's face swelled up within half an hour of using the day cream:eek: . There remains just one cream she can use and that's E45. It's a real shame as she's always been a dedicated money saver even when she was a little 'un on 50p pocket money per week;) .Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

I suspect you may be right and I have myself on occasion had problems with perfumed products like this in the past. I'm okay with this, but my daughter is very fair skinned and she's always had to be extra careful with the sun. At least she passed the pot back to me so it hasn't been wasted.

I would definitely say it's no good for sensitive skins as they(myself included) seem to be reacting badly to it. I think it might be the fragrance in it as it does smell very cheap/ overpowering...
I was really disappointed that it didn't suit my skin as so many others were delighted with it and it took me ages to track some down, but at that price I can't complain. I've already donated it to someone else with a non-sensitive skin!0 -
Well I can wear pretty much anything but have come out in a faceful of spots after using the day cream.
What a shame!Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.0 -
I had a reaction to the cream as well. But I also had the same reaction to ROC set I bought a while back and paid a lot more for it, I think it must be the Q10 causing it. On the plus side my husbands skin looks much better since hes been using it. Typical.0

One thing I have always done with face creams that I react badly to is to use them as hand cream
. I think most people find that the skin on their hands isn't as sensitive as that on their face - and with hands being a real giveaway to someone's age it can help to use a good face cream on the backs of them. Also if it's an alternative use for a cream you'd have to bin or give away and it means you don't have to buy an additional hand cream, it's a good saving. :T
I remember reading in a magazine that the article writer had realised the skin on one of her hands was notably better than the other. She reckoned that it was because she used to put a dollop of her face cream onto the back of her hand to warm it before putting it on her face. Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever
