Tesco grocery online codes - discussion thread

Just done a shop with tesco, entered in a 500 extra poitns code and it was accepted BUT it although it came up as 500 extra points, it dedcuted £5 off the bill as the discount!!!! Are they getting wise and is this a way to stop us abusing the extra points system. As it was only 500 pts I'm letting it go this time but will be well P'd off if it happens with a biggie of 1500 pts!! This way at least it's paying my shop and I don't want to draw attention to the fact that all of a sudden my points total has quadrupled!

I used a spend £75 get 1200 points for a delivery yesterday (order placed Friday). It says on my delivery sheet i've go the points, but I'll keep an eye on my online account to see if they get added.

I've never EVER been able to get a code off this board to work. I dont even bother with them now.

I'm the opposite, I've always, always been able to use all the codes!!

me too! Are you adding them at the right time? You have to make sure your total is enough to get the code to work the first time you checkout (ie you've spent over £50 to get 500 points as an example). They can't be added if you spent,say £25, checked out , then went back the next day and added another £30 or so - only the first time you check out.

is it worth me back tracking the voucher thread?? or shall i boycote tesco for a month or 2?

if all voucher users stopped shopping at tesco's for a few weeks, they would be sending loads out again

I've just been browsing the deals website trying to decide how to spend my points, and you can select how many to cash in online. How's that going to work with the vouchers I have sitting here to spend? Will we still have to send them in with forms, or is it all going to be done electronically?

I also notice things that were saying available from 15 Feb are now available ... hmmm ... birthday gifts all sorted now!

hello I have never ordered online before and have been sent a wine code with the wine club offers. I'm looking for a free delivery code to go with it.

Can I use 2 codes together?

you can only use one code at a time.
you can get free delivery if you spend over £99
make sure you use the code on this board for 1000 extra points when buying 12 bottles of wine or 6 bottles of champagne, as these will be worth £40 if you exchange them for deals vouchers.
