Tesco grocery online codes - discussion thread

Mine looked as if it was going through but when the goods came the order form said the code could not be used. They are going to email me with the reason why

Hi, that's not correct i'm afraid. The whole beauty of these codes is that Tesco have been taking them off the total BEFORE deductions (and excluding delivery)
Say that you spent £75 on shopping and had a code for £10 off, Tesco then take that £10 off and then take off the BOGOFS, leaving your bill considerably lower. I have done this time without number and never had a problem with codes not being honoured.

Hi,

I just recieved my delivery which was about 50 minutes late (booked slot 4pm-6pm, arrived 6:50). Driver called just after 5pm and said that traffic is bad and he will be late a bit, maybe 15-20 minutes. I understand these things happen, but maybe I could get something from Tesco for this delay?...

Any ideas?

Probably a daft question....can the groceries code be used for anything else, eg video games?

I just called customer services about my missing £15 and they asked me to find the code and then they could credit my card with the amount, they said it would be in my inbox but as I got the code from here I was hesitant. I checked my unused codes in my checkout part of the site and its not there. I am not sure what to do now.

When's the last day for Clubcard spend before the Feb statements? Seems like mine have just reset to 0 !

Have called Tescos and they advised it was because an item was out of stock which took my total order down to under £100.00 inc a coyple of BOFOF's. They have reactivated the code so I can use it again and more interestingley sent me an email with a with £10.00 of my next shop with no minimum spend linked to my phone number! 01234 567890A. So they are checking validity. Can't say I'm surprised. Hope this is not the end of something good.

I was told it was 29thJanuary.
