Pasta twists mixed into tinned toms cooked up with herbs all piled over tuna,.
My two boys eat a massive plate of this, sometimes a bit of grated cheese on top.

As above, pasta (traditionally tagliatelle) carbonara is the obvious one missing from the list.
I also have two very simple, very cheap but classic Italian pasta suggestions.
The first one is Spaghetti al Forno", which is simply 100 grams per person of spaghetti tossed with grated cheese. Parmesan is best of course, but any old leftover bit of “mousetrap” will do the business. Season with ground black pepper.
The second one is called "Aglio e Olio". It uses just 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 clove of garlic per person. Finely chop or crush the garlic and lightly fry it off in the oil. Boil 100 grams per person of spaghetti. Drain the pasta and toss it into the garlic and oil. Season with ground black pepper. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -

this one makes a nice change from tomato based sauces - but it's not as rich as a carbonara.
sweat off some leeks (and/or onions/garlic etc)in olive oil, add some chopped ham (or bacon, or left over chicken)
add a tablespoon of flour, cook briefly then pour on some stock to make a sauce.
mix with partly cooked pasta and bake in oven, you can top with cheese if you like
as you can see it is a very precise recipe  and great for using up odds and ends.weaving through the chaos...0 -
Chicken lasagne is our fav, fry off the chicken with onions and courgettes and layer up but using a cheese sauce instead of tomato, plenty of sauce, breadcrumbs and cheese on the top - served with some HM garlic bread - yum!"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0

half a mattesons smoked sausage, can freeze the other half for another time. About 2/3 punnet of chestnut mushrooms, tin of Campbell's cream of mushroom soup, pasta - cook mushrooms and sausage in campbells soup (do not make up with water), then add to cooked pasta. My favourite store cupboard meal - very easy, nice and even better with parmesan on top!
Nigella Lawson's beef meatballs in tomato sauce with pasta - to die for!
Macaroni Cheese, made with parmesan, mustard powder and then grated cheese on top (parmesan is great for adding to white sauces to make a quick tasty cheese sauce, you don't need as much cheese for the flavour, mustard powder make it even cheesier! Can add bacon and peas to make it more of a meal.0 -
Our fave ... Fry off some smoked bacon till really crispy and put to one side.
Then fry a leek with some mushrooms and garlic, then mix the whole lot with
the cooked pasta and a tub of single cream... Yummy :j0 -
Easiest pasta sauce I know is
1 tub creme fraiche (can use half fat if prefer)
1 handful fresh grated parmasan cheese
I do it with fried courgettes, a shallot or two, mushrooms and bacon0 -
