Apologies if already mentioned elsewhere.
This seems somewhat ageist to me, and I don't take too kindly to being discriminated against too well!0 -
Thanks Joto, but according to the guy at asda they needed the flyer / newspaper ad as i was going to pick it up at midnight or just after tomorrow. Might just give them a visit tomorrow and ask them this just incase as it would save me a hell of a trouble.
Will let you know how i get on.

We've pre-paid for this for twice as much! What a brilliant offer"There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children; one of these is roots, the other wings" - Hodding Carter

I shop quite often with Ocado and they've offered me the latest Harry P. for £4.99 if I place an order for delivery between 16-20 July.
Unfortunately wife has it pre-ordered. Not sure how much she has paid. Somewhat more I suspect.0 -

asda, kirkton in dundee has agreed after a phone call just now to sell me a reserved copy of the book for £4.99 if i can get a copy of either a kwik save flyer or the ad from the guardian showing the £4.99 price and take along a child under 15 like the ad says. It has to be an original - so if you know of any shops that may keep a old copies of the guardian or any other ideas before sunday night to get a copy of either ad - (the deadline for my reserved copy going back on the shelf). It would be greatly appreciated as they dont price match off the net. (Inconsiderate i say!)
I also informed them thanks to sammyi74 that Tesco is going to be selling it at £7.99 and gave them this web address to check up. Thanks Sammyi74. Lovely manny from asda away in a panic now to phone head office i think.
Being a Scot like myself - you might have a a copy of yesterday's Daily Record? The article was in that as well.
I've just called my local Asda to find out what proof I needed and have been told that I could take in the article from the newspaper saying Asda would price match and also a print out of Kwik Save's web page as we don't have any Kwik Save's near us.0 -
:T Kwik Save are selling Harry Potter books tomorrow at 8am to children under the age of 15 yr olds. Just hope the kids get up in time. :j0

already posted (just a few threads down!) so will merge the threads. It's helpful if you could do a search to see if an offer has already been posted before starting a new thread - thanks0
