I have also seen the info at tesco but it was too late as I have bought this online where the price will not change according to internal mail.
I contacted the Extra helpline who confirmed that if I wanted the cheaper price I would have to return the book in it's original packaging and then buy one instore.COME ON TESCO WHAT A RIP OFF0 -

I had a rather shameful thought, instead of the kids hanging round the shop by us asking me to get them fags/booze, I'll commendere one and send them in for a cheap HP book :idea:I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about:idea:0 -
Where did you download it from dsinclair999? ':|0

many thanks to all who have posted about this book. my middle son is an avid fan and dying to get his hands on it.
asda, kirkton in dundee has agreed after a phone call just now to sell me a reserved copy of the book for £4.99 if i can get a copy of either a kwik save flyer or the ad from the guardian showing the £4.99 price and take along a child under 15 like the ad says. It has to be an original - so if you know of any shops that may keep a old copies of the guardian or any other ideas before sunday night to get a copy of either ad - (the deadline for my reserved copy going back on the shelf). It would be greatly appreciated as they dont price match off the net. (Inconsiderate i say!)
I also informed them thanks to sammyi74 that Tesco is going to be selling it at £7.99 and gave them this web address to check up. Thanks Sammyi74. Lovely manny from asda away in a panic now to phone head office i think.0 -
Don't Asda price match with a telephone call to Kwik Save if you haven't got a flyer?Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0
