Yeah, but...the sewing machine was free, so can't REALLY complain!! I'm just thinking of how much it will save me when I start making my own clothes (apart from all the spending I'll be doing on the fabrics I just HAVE to have!!)

I don't think this thread is a goer - I can't think of anything more exciting to call it, but have temporarily changed the title to draw attention to my plight! I have found one place online that may be able to supply a replacement manual for a tenner, but if anyone here has the right one and would be happy to...then so much the better, some quids saved!

I've checked the model number, it's a Singer Samba 6, 6215C (I'm sure the "C" bit is optional?!...

I have never used a machine before, so it's not the case that I can just figure it out for myself, I'm a total novice, and I really want to get started!

    Fingers crossed!...
See if there is a local Singer shop or sewing machine shop near to you. Although I doubt they have the model in stock they can probably show you how to thread a very similar one. If you take a pic with you??? it could be helpful. If you get stuck feel free to pm me/send me a pic. i used to sell sewing machines, although I am unfamiliar with this particular model
