Is this one of those payments where you have to go into your paypal account and accept it in? How does it appear in your paypal? Have they sent a paypal equeue thingy-wotsit?0 -
Morning everyone,
(((((hugs)))) :grouphug: to Sola, Hilstep & all who need them.
I`ve been up and about since 4 so i`m wide awake, lots done too this morning. The wm and dw have been on and will be emptied when i get home and the bm finished before i left as i remembered to set the timer last night so the loaf on the cooling rack should be just right to slice and freeze when i get in too. The dogs should be sound asleep as they had a good walk this morning, glad it wasn`t raining!
Tea tonight SHOULD be curry & rice but i`ll see if we fancy something else later as it`s a hm ready meal from the freezer.
Lots to do as it`s very busy here at w**k for some reason.
Catch up later
Have a great Monday everyone.

jannyannie wrote: »SOLA hugs to you. Go and see your practice nurse and ask him/her to do some bloods, it could be anything. I found out it was my thyroid. You also might be pre-menopausal which can be pretty grim. There are loads of herbal things you can take to balance you out. PM me if you need to.
Thanks - my bloods are fine (were checked recently). An early menopause is a possibility; I had a 'radical hysterectomy' about 18 months ago (took my uterus and cervix but left my ovaries because I was only 39), and there's a 50% chance of my ovaries failing within 5 years and launching me into the menopause. I'm going to put myself back on agnus castus which has worked well for me in the past. I think it's mainly life-induced stress though, to be honest.
Actually I feel a bit better for having posted here - thanks for listening.0 -

Good morning all.
Pen-pen. The payment that says pending payment through paypal is probably an e-cheque. They are like an online cheque and can take between 7 and 10 days to clear. Alot of customers don't reaslise they haven't made an instant payment, so maybe you could e.mail them telling them goods will be despatched once funds have cleared. It is advisable that you don't post the item out until you receive an e.mail from paypal saying funds have cleared. hth.
Hope everyone is having a good day today. Yesterday I was up to my elbows in blocked drain-yuk not impressive.
I'm tired today-I'm always tired these day-don't know why.
Eldest DD gets back from Belgium tonight- Yay!!!!!!
She phoned yesterday and said she's having a great time but the place they are staying is a dump... so I'l wait to see pics.
(((Hugs))) for all who need or want them.
Hester can't you just get rid of your lodger-she sounds like a proper no-brainer, if you can't get rid, can't you put her rent up for all the inconvenience, lifts etc etc?? (((hugs))) to you, you must be a bl**dy saint!!! I think I'd have lost my temper with her by now.
Sola I hope you get sorted soon.
Right better go see if my coat is dry enough for work yet. failing that I'll just put kettle on again!!!GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Morning all - I also got up at silly o'clock - I know why, yesterday was Sunday, DH was home all day so the kettle didn't get a chance to cool down. I must tell him to make me a drink every other time he makes one for himself. He's 6'4" so he has more room for tea and coffee than I do! Anyway, besides needing to go to the loo every five minutes, the caffeine made me restless. Mind you, the last couple of drinks I have in the evenings now are Redbush tea which is caffeine free; I think it's the amount I drink on the weekend which causes the problems!
Anyway, I've been mooching around printing off knitting patterns (for all the knitters on here, I've put a link on the knitter's thread for a lovely site I found this morning with lots of free patterns).
(((Hugs))) to HILSTEP and SOLA and a medal for patience to HESTER - I don't think I'd ever get to sleep if she lived in my house; I'd be forever waiting for the smoke alarm to go off!
I've cleaned the bathroom, prepped for dinner tonight (HM burgers, potato cakes with potatoes and left over swede and carrots and fried eggs), made some sultana biscuit rolls using the All-Purpose Convenience Mix on Queenie's thread yesterday - which taste delicious, written a couple of letters and put the ironing board up. I also need to put the hoover round; a friend bought his over-exciteable staffordshire bull terrier round yesterday and he caused chaos. He was the cutest puppy but is absolutely huge now and very wide. Still soppy but I'm not sure I'd argue with him! I'm not used to dogs so it seemed like a hurricane going through the house. He also rummaged through my knitting and made off with a new ball of wool which DH rescued for me!
Anyway, apart from that, DH and I tackled loads of paperwork. I do all the accounts for his work which is a nightmare because he just shoves his receipts and bits of paper into a drawer and it takes me ages to sort them out so I made him organise it all properly and he's done a brilliant job. Just shows what can be done if you crack the whip. (Yes, DONNY-GAL - I did read that article!)
Anyway, enough waffling. I hope everyone has a good day and will see you all later.
