All happening here - work (maternity cover new job) outrageously busy. working late most nights.
Weekends have a certain niceness about them these days.
Went to Devon last w/e and having a lovely visitor later tonight.
Not done anything moneysaving for ages, but starting again next month in order to try to get ISA filled.
Hope all well with you all,

Phew - half term at last and I plan to sleep a lot! Don't remember being this tired even through the dark days!
Maybe I shouldn't go for my fix of niceness midweek and have to leave at 6.30 to get back for work by 9.00.
Was worth it though!
Going out tonight for the tasting menu at Lumiere in Chelt - treat for my twin sis for our 50th.
Will definitely be fat by tomorrow!

Gawd - another month + gone by.
ISA now almost full - just need to put about £400 in at the beginning of April, then start on the £5340 for next year (where dd they get that figure from???).
Mexico coming up shortly - can't wait - work ridiculously busy - a week on the beach swamped in tequila is just what i need!
All well in poppy's love life.......very happy at the moment
Hope everyone out there is happy too.

Hey poppy
sounds like things are going great and MF life treating you well
great to hear how things are going - what is your highlight of MF life? (apart from the ISA! :rotfl:)0 -
The best bit about MF is I can just buy things/do what I like (within reason!) without worrying about money.
The worst bit is, I'd really like to move house but I know that in order to get what I really want (ie house in nice area with decent garden) i'll have to start again on the mortgage game. Really don't want to do that so in fact having had 6 or 7 MF months I'm going to start saving in earnest so that I can minimise any mortgage I might have to get in the future.
The MF ways are pretty embedded having said that so I'm not extravagent but it's nice not having to think!

Ok I have a plan.
I have decided I need to try to save £25000 by the end of 2012 which will hopefully facilitate a move.
I already have about £12300 in ISA's, so I'm going to treat £5000 of that as a start (meaning £20000 needed) and the other £7300 is the 'emergency' fund.
I am also going to try to save £400 a month for holidays as the new man (Mr C) and I have limited time together and have decided the time we have together should be quality time - on nice holidays in nice hotels. Mr C and I are off on the first of these in 12 days! Can't wait (except I just found out the flight is longer than I thought and I won't use the loo on a plane).
I think I can do it and so I shall start my MFW/MSE ways again in earnest.
New sig will keep track of what I'm doing - and the first thing I need to find is a decent ISA for the new financial year, and then a decent savings account. Hmmmmm - not easy!
