    hello guys
firstly happy new year - ok somewhat late but heartfelt anyway.
hope you all had good visits from santa and enjoyable times with the important people in your lives. :)
a lot going on on planet poppy at the moment, and all good!
just started new job (albeit temporary) covering my manager's maternity leave - busy times ahead.
also maybe a little romance in the air hereabouts......someone from a long long time ago - last saw him when i was 11.
met up christmas eve for a drink and kinda clicked.
early days i know, but enjoying the distraction and he is so different from the last one - not a complicated bone in his body.
lives a bit of a way away (but at least on the same continent!!!!) but going up tomorrow night for the weekend.
can't wait - feel all teenagery!
we're going away for a week in april and he's as excited as me.
so busy in lots of ways.
    isa not full yet. oops!
love to you all, po xxx

  • Sounds perfectly good reasons to me to not have the ISA filled. Very much deserved teenager feelings. Keep us up to date though. ;)
  • Oh how lovely, I read your thread with real excitement and was delighted when you paid off your mortgage, congratulations with the job and the lovely man - fingers crossed it will be all you want it to be and more.
Debt Sept 2012 £140,000 end age 65.5 (maximum) four mortgages in total
    April 2016 £114,599.83 (3 mortgages now)
Nil debt for some many years now perhaps 8. Need to save for a tent for holiday this year but nil else.
Over paying about £500 per month but fancy £600 so will have to think of some very money saving techniques...
