    Big hugs :grouphug:

Stay strong, and if you need to have a little weep today, thats ok, then put some music on and dance around the room like a woman without a care in the world (till you get out of breath, for me that would be about 30 seconds)

Aw Poppy, life looks really rubbish sometimes but I like to think of it as more of a clearing the decks for better times.

It was reading your MF journey and Weezl's the other night which made me think about getting my mortgage paid off asap. So whilst you might think you are one person, living your own life, in your own world you actually have far reaching positive effects with your efforts.

I bet you can't say the same for your H?

(would also like to thank cha97michelle and all the other threads I've been reding on here, sorry poppy, it's a karma thing)

Looks like I might be able to make another op in january - basically up to another £300 which is pretty good all things considered. Will do some calculations and work out exactly what to do tomorrow. I'm so much better off financially without the !!!!!!. ;)
Nothing much planned for the w/e - a pile of work to tackle if I can face it.
Then two weeks until half term - can't wait! I'm sooooooooo tired.
Will update when I have a definite amount.
    PO xx

Have worked it out. I'm going to OP another £386.30 if i can figure out how to use the card reader. That will take me down to approx £9267.96 with whatever the interest is for those days since it was last calculated. i figure my savings are what is most dangerous in the divorce as the lawyer says he'll have no claim on the house so it's as well to 'spend'!
Can't believe it - will have op'd over £700 this month! Yayyyyyyyyyy!!!!
    Am soooooooooo motivated (obsessed?????) LOL
    PO xx

  • Yayyy!!!! I worked it out. card reader duly set up which makes op'ing much easier as now i don't have to go into town to do it - except with the contents of le cochon of course!
So total Op for January is..........................£732.47! That's 24.4% of year's target and 7.4% approx of mortgage remaining as of 01/01/10.
Feb is looking promising too as no council tax and no big bills due. March not so good - service and mot (but still no council tax!) .
Obviously all this is assuming divorce doesn't get (any more) nasty as then the lawyers will rake it in, not the mortgage.
    But - onwards and downwards!
