Thank you for your kind words. Posting on here has been therapeutic and words of support like yours, part of the healing process.

I hope that telling the story will help anyone else who sadly finds themselves in my position to realise that they don't have to live with it.

DH is in court tomorrow again - I think for the breach of bail. We'll find out then if he's still in the country! Then (if he is still here) the 23rd for both of us.

But my main concern now is the mortgage!

  • morning!
last day before half term - thank goodness - i plan to sleep for a week and spend no money!
DH did turn up at court on tuesday - apparently was the pre-trial review whatever one of those is, so now it's full steam aheads for the 23rd. means he's still in the country - was hoping he wasn't.
am going to walk to work today as we moved yesterday and now it's only 2 miles from home - won't be able to do that as a rule because i'm an essential car user, but today i know i'm office based so i can. so, exercise and money saving at the same time. can't be bad!
have just had my gas an electricity bills and i'm £171 and £42 in credit respectively. those can both go to the mortgage as it can't be bad to be that much in credit in the winter months when usage is higher. very pleased with that!
have a good mse day everyone,

My very best wishes to you for later in the month and hope for a rapid review to minimise the stress for you :A

You've done exactly the right thing and already appear to be taking major steps forward, well done!

I'm sure the mortgage position will be something you can work with. Best wishes.
