    Mortgage-free Glee!
Back in circulation. This has been a difficult summer. I don't think I'll be able to OP much the next couple of months....will be working on the theory that anything is better than nothing, and sneaking to the BS without anyone else knowing. what the heck. my money, my mortgage. Will be relying heavily on le cochon.
Definitely won't be going sub £10k in September now. Feeling quite low about it all.
    PO xx

    PO
I can relate to your feelings as our October MFD is looking a bit tenuous. However, remember how much you've achieved to get here so far, and what you would still be facing if you hadn't done so. All of us have "stretch" targets and we all seem to get a little knock back along the way, but, we are all still WELL AHEAD of where we'd be otherwise.

Hang in there, enjoy the nice weather and don't beat yourself up about it - promise?
    :A
  • Well, what a year that turned into. It started with so many dreams.
DH is no longer with me so what a waste of time energy and money that all was. i miss him desperately but he did something unforgivable two weeks ago which means i no longer feel safe with him. i honestly tried my best and will probably love him for ever.
So now the MF dream is the only one left, but at least i will be able to do as i please with it.

My 2010 target is to clear a minimum of £3000, but maybe go for the whole lot - that depends how much a divorce costs.

OMG. I said the 'd' word.

So PO is back on track, and back in circulation.
Hope everyone had a nice day yesterday - i spent it in the Arms.:D

    See you all later,

Oh Poppy, so sorry to hear your news, but it sounds like you've made the right decision for you. Hugs xx

A 'd' can be very cheap, if there are no arguments over money etc.....forgive me if I'm wrong though, but didn't you only get married this year? Unfortunately, and I know this from my own experience, you have to be married a year before you can do the D thing.

it will be a year in 4 weeks. i can do it then.
i am hoping he has no claim on anything as he has not contributed anything financially and i can prove it. the house is in my name only too and again no contribution whatsoever. i have basically housed, clothed, fed and watered him for 15 months. and paid for 5 return flights, two of which he didn't even catch (total loss to me £900).
and as a thank you he beat me up.
i don't think he has many rights after all that. i hope he is deported.
 to marital and mortgage freedom in 2010.

Maybe we could do it now virtually - me 1st 7.gif

You only have a teeny weeny mortgage so every little overpayment will really have an impact. Onwards & downwards in 2010 :T
