Hello all, i just thought i'd post in here before i go to bed. I havn't been well lately, i've had a bad cold. Anyway i have my Tumble Dryer
it fits nicely in my bedroom in a gap between my wardrobes, all i have to do is just pull it out when i need it and put it near the window to vent. It's cool, i'm glad i bought it because i don't have to have everyones bedding hanging around the house once a week anymore making the place look untidy
Cleared up downstairs and the upstairs is going to be done tomorrow, after i've walked the dogs that is.
Goodnight and hopefully speak tomorrow :beer:0 -

Used to happen to me all the time but it was DH and his workmate on a tea stop! Would to frighten the life out of my friend and neighbour though. She'd see the police car and think it was bad news until I told her why they were there! Always said don't worry, if it's the marked car it will be DH. The time to worry is when it's an unmarked car and you don't recognise the officers. Unfortunately they did arrive in an unmarked car and knocked on her door trying to find me
AnW'smum - I'm sorry to read that. I was aware you'd lost your husband but hadn't realised he was a Policeman. Big hugs to you.
This morning, because some dear soul had decided to park a great big blue minibus outside my front door, I couldn't see a police car, all I could see was a PC in uniform and high viz jacket and behind him the blue minivan. The PC told me a car across the road from me had been hit by another vehicle which was why they were trying to find the owner.
After I posted here, I had a sneaky look out and there were three Police cars scattered (rather than parked) across the road, about eight officers in the street (and it's a v. short street that goes nowhere) - a couple of whom looked like they were Bosses - they weren't your usual street patrol. I reckon the initial Police who knocked on the door had been chasing a car and then the chased car hit the parked up one on the otherside of the road behind the blue minivan that obscured my view. That's the only reason I can think for the Police doing a door to door knock up and the subsequent prescence of high up personnel.
And I am aware of my local Police crews' tea stops - there's cafe I can see across the field from my kitchen window. Every sunday morning there's usually three or four marked police cars parked up around about 10am whilst they have their full english....I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I'm off to bed! I only managed to do half the things on my list but tomorrows another day. DB did not do the carpet (no surprise there) but bless him, he did cook tea and changed the bedding and put on the new electric blanket he bought me for christmas. I don't want any glares of disapproval over my leccy blanket thank you, I have recently been diagnosed with arthritis in my spine so it's even more important now that I stay warm and comfy!!0

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: that sounds about right! We always used to joke that they only time they used the blues and twos was because their chips were getting cold
Don't mind seeing all those uniforms if those wearing them are a bit of alrightand DH looked rather cute in his uniform
