Books, piles of paperbacks I want to read one day, cookery books, toiletries, make-up, perfume. I have been referred to as a squirrel more than once.
That's before I start on the food, although I am far better that I used to be. I never run out of the following: loo roll, tea, coffee, sugar, weetabix, beans, tuna, pasta, milk, marmite, jam or washing powder. That way we will always have something to eat.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.
one life, live it!0 -
It's good to know i'm not alone.
I never run out of anything! My sister lives a couple of miles out of town and I visit her most days. Quite often she'll ask if i've any spare washing up liquid/tin foil/washing up powder etc, etc.I always have to have at least one spare incase I run out. I've been running around with 24 toilet rolls in the boot of my car for the past couple of weeks as i've nowhere to keep them in the house.

some of my cleaning stuff
I'd actually used some of the stuff here, as the most washing up liquids i've had at once is 12 bottles.0 -
Some more.....:o
Picture frames from car boots...(bound to come in handy one day  )
Bubblewrap and jiffybags to recycle via ebay
Teatowels...have dozens of brand new ones yet I always use the same old ones
T shirts....in black or white
Maps.... yet I never seem to have the right one for where I'm going!
Suitcases...have one in every conceivable size/shape
Sets of china, currently have 6 sets each consisting of 8 place settings...(why?)
Yet....I hate to have large stocks of food in the house...as someone who has had an eating disorder in the past it really freaks me0 -
my 'thing' is loo roll, I HATE the thought of running out, so always keep a few weeks worth in the 1 cupboard that we have. I was just saying to OH last night that we are a bit retentive with bathroom products, deodorants, body wash, shampoo, bubble bath... you name it... bath fizzers are taking over the bathroom!! I like to stock-pile tuna when it's on offer - even though I dont like it much lol, OH does though. OH did a clear out of our kitchen pantry last week, and was proud to present me with a black bin liner of make-up that I'd chucked in there :O most of its too old to use now, but I never realised I even had that much!!! oh...I could go on, and on and on....you've made me think nowskint but in luv :kisses2:0

jackieb, I have the same size cupboard under the sink but with a rotating rack aswell so double the space, that's full aswell as under the stairs
oh and the laundry stuff is in a seperate box on the washer because there isn't enough room for it..............
Oh jiffy bags, my partner was awful and mean, he made me give away 2 bin bags full of used ones on freecycle when we moved, pig he is
Donna the thought of no loo roll worries me! My sister was running round her street last week asking to borrow loo rolls as the shops were closed, erm, no thanks!
I did a flour check earlier all ishs so rounded down- 4lb bread flour (white) lb wholemeal bread flour, 2lb chapati flour, 3 bags brown bread flour, 2lb gram flour, 3lb plain flour, 2lb self raising flour, litte bit of masa harnianeed some more, 2lb wholemeal flour, 6 I think bread mixes, might be a few more further back...
12 bags of normal sugar left, then there is every type of muscavado, brown, light brown, dark brown, icing, demerara etc too, 2 jars DP coffee and 3 bags of mine so have ordered more (I prefer to have at least 2 of each in and he'll open one before the order arrives), bags of raisins (must use some of those soon) and that's just what is at the front of the cupboards. 12 boxes of cereals.....I think I will stop at that, you can see where the list is going
Suppose I should maybe try and use some stocks and save myself some money this month, but then I will feel uncomfortable or see an offer which is too good to miss. I NEED to empty one freezer which I have been trying to do for weeks then bargains or just me being me doesn't let it get empty. Something I am still getting used to is having a shop close by that I am willing to use (coop) there is a grocers (expensive) and a pharmacy which sells vinegar, soda crystals etc the same price as Wilkinsons, where we used to live we always had bad weather in winter, the shop local was pathetic and expensive so didn't use it. Suppose if I can get used to that bit, then might make me feel a little easier. One day I might be more organised...........

The only thing i hoard is cosmetics. I have draw fulls of the stuff. I have 39 eyeshadows (yes i am sad enough to count them) and about the same in lipglosses. I have three foundations and bought another two today. Up until recently i had 10 blushers.
I had two bronzers until i finally realized that bronzers dont look right on me.
I see them, i like them and i just have to have them.:oThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
