About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D0 -
Ah yes..this sounds familliar! Caught myself only this morning buying two bottles of hot pepper sauce "as they don't last long"! At one time I had rows of tinned goods resembling a supermarket shelf, but I have broken myself of that now. Try to make sure I list what I'm just using up, rather than having two or three of everything in stock.Resolution:

Oh yeah, this is me, but I am trying so hard to break the cycle! I've now been on store cupboard challenges for all cleaning products, bath products and food for about 2 years now. Stocks are slowly going down but not very fast! I still haven't learnt to say no to really good bargains tho I am getting better. The food one seems to be the most problematic!0

OHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhh i'm so bad at this! I have a full cupboard of tins/loo rolls/cereals although (now this is me trying to justify it, LOL) my OH had coupons from Tesco and he managed to get 2 x £100 shops for £50 total. So we stocked up big style. We have had to take a cupboard from DD bedroom! Will be trying to use it up before we do another huge shop though and just get fresh stuff.

There isn't much I don't have a stash of.................years supply (at least) of washing powder, stardrops, soda crystals, shower gel, and much much more, not much space left here, under stairs cupboard is my cleaning cupboard :rotfl: under my bed I think there is at least 30 loo rolls, more in the cupboard.......toiletries stash is in the airing cupboard, bottom of my wardrobe (in big boxes) and in the bathroom. 50+ wilkinsons delivery boxes within a few weeks, took some work putting it all away..should have seen me when I realised I only had 3 boxes of washing powder left before I stocked up again, was in a right frenzy..Food wise not so bad, 7 cupboards I am limited to are all full, on the tops of the cupboards are full, on top of the fridge and 2 huge boxes I have for 'supplies'.....ok maybe bad to some, that with 2 full freezers I know we'll never starve. Crazy thing is I still buy more.
I sort of know why, after going through several very rough years, full decade really, where sometimes the freezer was empty as were the cupboards and I had to borrow washing powder to clean the boys clothes, now money isn't so tight it's like a comfort for me. To be honest it isn't all bad, the cleaning stuff was all bought on offer, saves me lugging the heavy stuff back from the shops, bulky stuff like loo rolls too. I'm not willing to let go of my comfort thing, not just yet, you can't see most of it as it's put away and well hidden so doesn't bother me. Just trying to run one freezer down makes me feel uncomfortable. One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
I use my hoard as my corner shop :-) When I run out of something in the pantry I pop upstairs to the spare room to replenish. I replace the 'spares' on the next monthly shop - but only at a price I think is good value.Enjoying an MSE OS life0
