I have recently been on surfing to find out how we can lower car insurance premium. I wasn't quite clear how to get cheaper car insurance. I found a very good news article, which detailed on how we can lower the premiums in seven steps. It was fantastic and amazing to know. I have saved around £231 from them on my car insurance after knowing the tips. You may want to read this article click below.

Hi,
I followed the links regarding motoring insurance and used 'Insurancesupermarket.com'.
The cheapest quote I received was £187 From 'Bell Insurance'. I was very pleased as this was a fair bit cheaper than what I pay just now.
I telephoned the company and explaine the aforementioned information. The alarm bell (pardon the pun) rang when she said,
"You're aware the insurance quote on that website is a very, very rough estimate".
I said I wasn't aware, to which she replied,
"Oh yeah, usually it's nothing like that".
We went throught the process, giving her excatly the same information as I gave the website and it came out at nearly £260! More than I pay with my current insurers. I felt it was a right waste of time.
Just to make you all aware of my experience. It may be just that company?

Thanks so much you have helped me save £140 on my renewal quote
Insure supermarket gave me some great quotes, the cheapest (peoples choice) jacked it up £60 for a named driver - no way, quinn direct online was next, also tried adrianflux and they came back very competitively so called them and they dropped it again and virtually matched the quinn direct quote so went with them - I much prefer dealing with real people on the phone.
So smuggly called swinton to tell them I didn't want to do business with them any more (they inherited from taking over my old broker) and hadnt' bothered to call me back in over a week - their loss - my gain :-) and save money in the bargain - now I can go buy a new freezer

Neither system will cope with a recently imported 2nd hand car imported from Japan and recently registered in this country. Confused.com does have a question "is this a japanese import?" even if I amnswer Yes it insists that Ichoose between Toyotas made in the same year and marketed in UK.
Please advise others of this until they can get it sorted.
How updated are their car registrations? mine was done 3 days ago, I want to collect the car tomorrow but can not get the insurance...

heres a good tip for you- virgin insurance are the only firm i know of that don't charge extra for paying monthly, and the premium was cheapest to start with.
was surprised that my old insurers wanted to charge 20% interest for paying monthly- NOT LIKELY!!!!things arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back thenMercilessKiller wrote: »BH is my best mate too, its ok

Hi Martin
In your table of monthly payments you have stated that direct line charge 0%. I have just had a renewal notice to say quote " We've reduced the interest rate you pay on your monthly instalment to 7% (APR 16.1%) to ensure your premium stays competitive?" I thought I would just let you know. Incidently I always pay annually. Thanks anyway I have just changed to Nationwide and saved myself £20.000 -
Hi Martin
Your table of monthly payments showed Direct line as 0% and my renewal
came through with this company as 7%. I phoned them and pointed this out
and they gave me 0% !!!!!! £24 saved.
Always worth a phone call.
A point to ponder is that these multiple insurance quote sites make a number
of assumptions, one being that you use your car to commute to work.
Not all of us do. £20 difference on one site.0
