It was on the 11th, but as I'm at work I don't have the order printout and can't remember the time. I'll check tonight when I get home.
Just checked, I recieved 2 emails after ordering on the 11th, one at 2021 and the other at 2040, money was debited from my credit card on the 11th also.
So if I don't receive the benchs in the next few days, Kays are in for a row!

hej Jaxxy you don't have to be sorry at all we are all very grateful and I'm glad some people got their benches it's just a shame that some of us won't (especially since I boasted about it to all my friends and family and actually invited them to come over and sit on the bench tomorrow);)

Just stayed in all day waiting for a pre-6pm delivery too.
Had nothing from Kays to say order has been cancelled but checking the website now shows no current or previous orders. All it would have taken was a courtesy email or phone call....

Just contacted them they deny taking any money,they only take payment when despatched,this despite my cc showing a £10 payment pending,all they could say was if it shows up on our system in a couple of days you can claim it back,how nice of them...I can claim my own money back!What goes around - comes around

Called them as i too was due to get one by 6pm today and should have known it wouldn't be coming.They said the same as the rest of you that they have'nt got any more left blah blah i'm not very happy and they said they had sent a letter on the 15th(Friday) and i too haven't got that letter.Darren0

My order acknowledgement email from Kays was at 8:55pm on 11/7/05. I subsequently received 3 emails from them confirming delivery on Monday 18th before 6pm. However, as with many others above, my order has disappeared from their online system and I'm obviously not going to get it. They haven't bothered to tell me anything about it. Even if they sent letters out on Friday 15th that's too late after acknowledging orders on the 11th and why didn't they send the letters by email especially with many people waiting in to receive them. I'm not impressed with Kays' customer service.0

I can't tell yet. It hadn't shown online by this morning but I used a Nationwide credit card for this order (and unlike my Barclaycard) it takes absolutely ages before transactions show online. I'll let you know if it does show. When did they take the money from your card? Hopefully your order is on its way to you but I don't hold out much hope for mine! I'm not too worried about the payment because if they have taken the money it should be reasonably straightforward to get it back. I'd rather have my bench though - my wife was really looking forward to receiving it.0 -

Not too worried about getting money back, but I would much rather have 2 nice benchs than £16

My orders been cancelled
lady said theyre out of stock. It was meant to be delivered today as per their email, but did not arrive so i called them. Will have to check to see if theyve stolen any money from my account.
