theyre fab hearts.i might make some for my daughters room and use as bunting.thank you for the post :)

Thanks! I've just re-read my post and think it comes across as a bit self-indulgent. This wasn't the intention. I wasn't trying to 'big up' my skills, more like trying to demonstrate that shabby chic can be cheap and easy! My dd helped make them and we had great fun squishing the soggy paper.
Unfortunately dd has to share a room with her older brother and he won't appreciate the pink hearts! I've promised dd her very own pink shabby chic room when (if) we move into a bigger house and she has her own room

I didn't take it that way either but love the hearts, I think I might make something in a similar way with Christmas trees as gift tags for next year.
I've spent so many virtual pennies from all the other links though but luckily stopped before actually spending. Great links for saving for later though!

    Thanks all. x

I dont think anyone has posted this already (but page 1 seems so very long ago!). BHS is full of gorgeous, gorgeous kitchenware at the moment (some beautiful furniture too). Lots of cream wireware, enamel stuff, pretty pastels - I went in at lunch time and wanted everything (especially the saucepans)! The link is here...

Having a look on the website - i think there was actually a lot more bits and bobs in the shop....
