Sounds lovely! I had my eye on an ebay one but think it's too much for now... in the new year if we get a new place I will look in earnest...

Not sure this has already been suggested but buy fat quarter of cath kidon fabric off ebay and sew onto cheap towels and flannels.
I love cath kidosn and have brought fabric and made duvet cover and curtains or look for kidsonesque prints liek local curtain shop got pale pink with white spots just like kidson.

Sainsburys did do cheap polka stuff and wollies had vintage range.

I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.
  • I love ebay for shabby chic items - jars / frames / much more. In the new year I want to make more liquid handsoap / shower gel etc and will use this kind of 'recycling' - saves lots of plastic too!
