    talking about ebay just found this beautifull brush set...

    also as a suggestion on one of the vintage clothes forums that i am on there is a section for telling other users what ebay listings you have...which is brill from a vintage clothes.accessories point of view

  • I haven't had chance to photographed all my thrifted finds from yesterday but my eldest has photographed the vintage umbrella and suitcase.She wants to keep the brolly but I think I might ebay it!

    It has a lovely curled handle and metal point at the other end. Very Audrey Hepburn I think!

    Hello girls - I have been lurking for yonks but as I have nothing to show at the moment - have kept quiet! LOL

    Have joined the new forum as I am itching to do something creative - just need to find some time :-)

    Well done to you all - you have all got some great bargains and really transformed them - so inspirational - thanks for sharing all the tips - just shows that you don't need to spend a fortune to have a nice home :-)

    Teaset but alas without the teapot but I loved it £3.50, and tray was £1 in a charity shop a few weeks ago

    Cups and saucers totaled about £4 and photo frames £1 each

    Little bag £2.75 thought it would look nice hung in my bedroom

    Hopefully this will work, have been trying for ages to post pics!

    My throw/blanket from charity shop £2.99 and the cat i made for dd out of the sew pretty homestyle book, its not the colours i wanted for it but it was the only fabric i had to make it and its my first ever sewing project so im very proud of myself :)

    Your cat is fab. Well done - it looks an incredibly fiddly project.
    The throw: I bought the exact same one yesterday! How weird is that! Bought it for my daughter to cut up to make things, as our local charity shops never have fabric, and it was ever so cheap.

  • helllooo everyone!!! :hello:

    sorry its been sooo long, but i have been so busy l;ately, i ran the london marathon last sunday!! in 4 hrs 19mins:T , so i have been putting in alot of extra hours training before hand, and i knew if i clicked on this website, i would sit in the chair and not run !!

    well all over now for another year !

    and boy have you lot been busy, i had 59 pages to catch up on :eek:

    you have all done some amazing jobs

    vintage pleasure love the simplies, they are sooo cute

    cooltrikerchick - can you please post some piccies on here once you have shabbyed, your pin board i have one too, and they do look so very plain

    we have now got our own allotment, already thinking of ways i can shabby chic it !!:rotfl:

    got a good few bits from freecycle recntly, and lovely pine dresser, wooden garden table and chairs, a telephone table, all waiting in line to be pianted

    been to a few good bootsales, lots to show you, when i get my camera back ( cousin took it on hols with her )

    if you do start up a forum please let me know,

    only up to early today posting, but just had to say hi,

    must admit i have missed you all :o
