They are so pretty, they remind me of the colours of some jelly beans.

What a bargain you got with your plates too.
  • Oh damn, there's so many messages on here this morning I can't keep up or remember who wrote them. Anyway, love seeing them all but especially curious about the damaged tableclothes and what you do with them?

PS....IceCream, yes yes yes please keep us updated on your chair. Maybe it's a childs chair under all the layers!

I cannot bear it any longer.

    I HAVE TO POST!!!!

I have read, looked, linked and loved this thread! I am shabbying my kitchen over the next few weeks, ordered some fabric from ebay for my curtains. The only problem I have is that the charity shops around here are full of junk - the good stuff seems to go elsewhere. I have been searching them for stuff to go onto my new shelves and am still looking for the perfect fabric trim for the edges of my shelves and I will persist! Car boots are naff unless I want to get up really early (I love my bed!)

I do also have enough left over material to make a quilt for baby, but I also think I am taking on a few too many projects.

I will make more posts here and continue to read and look and link and love this thread!!!

Anybody treated woodworm and have some advice please.

When we had our cottage we had a small amount of active woodworm in one of the attic beams and it was found by the surveyor when we were selling the house. Being a local man (we lived on Anglesey) he gave us some advice on how to treat it. We bought a can of anti-woodworm stuff from the local shop (farm/diy) and painted it on the live holes. You dont need to treat dead worm holes, just fill and/or paint over them.

Can I just say that I love this thread and come here every day for my daily "fix". Well done to everyone posting their finds and projects:T Please keep posting pics as I love coming to the board and lookin at everyones fab stuff.
