You guys will not realize just how proud I am of this. I am so incapable when it comes to using my sewing machine, and am trying to work myself up to making curtains for DD's room. But it's true. It's easy.

Oh wow, I just LOVE that! I'm sulking because I don't have a sewing machine :(

Having said that my friend has offered to lend me hers until I can save up for one :T but I'm reluctant to learn how to use one, only to have to learn how to use a different one.

Anyway, I'm rambling! I LOVE your bag it's just brilliant.

and I can't bid on it:sad: no room as the utility needs a floor before I can start buying stuff for it. I think it could be really lovely done up to <sigh>.
I'm fed up of living in a building site of a house and living out of boxes with no room ready for the finishing touches. I see the beautiful houses that many people have on here and despair sometimes, although I suppose it gives me something to aim for.:A :A

just sitting here (at work!) reading back through past posts and had a brainwave!

I have a little passage between my kitchen & bathroom with a cupboard with louvre doors on its pine at the moment but thinking about painting it white/cream and putting shelves in to make into a kind of a larder etc, then i could do without one of my kitchen cupboard and have the open shelves/unit that i long for!!!

Do you think this would be practical etc? and NEgirl fancy a project??

I cant wait for my lunch break...only one little street of shops here but 2 charity shops!!

I know how you feel but believe me when you do start adding the finishing touches it will be worth it.
