It's always worth a quick check in TK Maxx, The Range, Wilkinsons, Matalan if you have any of those stores near you.

PoundStretcher tend to have a good selection of baskets - all different sizes, some lined, some plain... all nice!.

Ikea do wicker baskets, they do lovely galvanised zinc baskets too, very shabby chic.. Au Naturele is always worth a look too.. other than that sometimes it's just hit or miss to find them as branded stores, like BHS etc can charge quite a lot for them sometimes.

Thanks but no Ikea or Au Naturele in Suffolk

Thanks....the basket in the link is exactly the sort I am after. Pity they haven't included measurements in the details

did anyone buy anything from the bhs sale when it was posted earlier in the thread?? i ordered one of the jugs, 2 plates (kiddy ones) and the tin flower pitcher - i have to say i am so impressed with it all!! Much bigger than i ever anticipated and it all looks so expensive too - not bad for £15 inc postage!! Thank you to the OP of the link to the bhs sale :D
