Vintage, I know it's a bit stupid.. (I generally am :D;) ) but that photo you put up, with the coathangers.. the string of pretty coloured things, are they scented soaps? or beads?

    Thanks :D

Here's the link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200210703516 The seller say's it's an antique but I'm sure by definition an antique has to be over 80 years old and the cupboard definitely isn't!

BTW someone was asking about padded hangers so I thought I'd share a photo of mine with you

I get them from charity shops who normally throw them out.Just ask and most places will save some for you. They never charge more than a few pence.

Spangles! what a lovely picture. I remember them, they changed the name for some obscure reason, what did they change it too? and how can anything sound better than SPANGLES!

I was googling for spangles the other day..........(did retro sweet boxes for grandchidren at easter and my son said he wanted one for his birthday!)
Seems spangles were last on sale in 1995 but withdrawn for some reason and it doesn't seem likely they'll ever be around again. Not sure whether they were relaunched under another name or not.

Having real difficulties here. We are beginning work on our kitchen and so I am clearing the cupboards so they can be moved to put flooring down.
I can't believe how many bowls and dishes I have. I know if I want to simplify my life I should get rid of some but and its a big but, I love them all. What sorts would you definitely keep and what would you get rid of?

Can you take a pic of them? We could have a vote for you.:rotfl: Go on, it's raining and I'm too stuffed with homemade pizza to do anything else this afternoon.:p

Oh just how do you chose which ones to get rid of! I have a window seat with lift up lids, for storage in my kitchen and I have loads of stuff in there and sometimes I go in to clear things out and I can always find a reason not to! you know, I might need that:rolleyes: in 20 years time, so had better keep it. :o Good luck vivw
